Diet, Nutrition & Weight Loss
People would argue that not getting help or working through trauma is a moral failing too |
I’m 55. I was a single mom for six years. I still got up and ran at 5am because that was literally the only time I had. I have grown kids now and more time. I’ve never been overweight. You are making excuses. You have the time. You just choose not to use it. |
55. You probably need to update your training if you think it’s cool to eat several buttered English muffins. |
lol and they would be wrong. |
No, carbs are not bad, not at all. However, your pompous posting that is truly clueless and making my point for me is just perfection! You are so self-absorbed and unaware of how you sound that I will just let you make my point for me. Take note PPS, this is how your SPT (read, she couldn't get a proper job....) talk about you, think about you. A person who sits on her ass all day.... |

My boyfriend is an athletic trainer for a professional hockey team and has a PhD in Kinesiology. I just asked him if he would eat two to three English muffins after working out, and he laughed.
I have a masters, but not a PhD. Frankly, I think you are lying. I’m underweight. No good trainer would suggest limiting carbs or healthy fats for someone like me. Maybe he slept through some of his classes? |
Or may be a failure of resources, and adequate, available and affordable mental healthcare |

Meanwhile, while we're not making excuses, maybe we should work on changing our lifestyle?
Eating habits develop early. Why do we allow crap to be served for school lunches and camps providing chips and Caprisan for snacks? Do you know what Chickfile is sponsoring school events and kids get pizza coupons for reading books? Also, why not build sidewalks and install more bike lanes? There are so many places in America where you can't walk and have to drive. |
This is the kind of smug BS that probably led OP to write up a rant in the first place. Judging people for eating carbs that you consider "inappropriate" is just really weird and annoying. Any person's healthy diet can include some imperfect foods. An English muffin (or two) (or three) is not going to ruin anyone's health. Even if it did, many (most?) people enjoy eating foods that have "empty carbs" and would rather live life enjoying their food than eat clean every second of every day forever. I weigh the same as the English muffin-eating trainer, also enjoy an English muffin, and I typically run zero miles and teach zero hot yoga classes. It's one little part of my overall diet (which includes around 2000 calories most days, most of them pretty healthy). The English muffins I buy have a whopping 100 calories, 8 grams of fiber, no added sugar. Flour is not the devil. |
Maybe get your own thread to tear apart the PP's eating habits on. |
Can we all agree that this is the most annoying, self-righteous prig of a person? Clearly her ex-partner agrees and ditched her long ago. |
|
No we can't agree. I think more of you need an English muffin, maybe you can be nice again.
- not English Muffin Trainer |
Not lying. He didn’t suggest limiting carbs, he said there were better choices that 2-3 English muffins with butter. |
+1 LOL at the people tearing down a fit woman who enjoys the occasional indulgence. As if English muffins are the only thing she eats.

I ate him. Needed the protein. |
