He appeared on Cougar Town with Cox, he appeared on Web Therapy with Kudrow (I believe all were on Web Therapy at different times except Aniston) and he and Cox have beee to lunch with Cox posting selfies on IG.

He was definitely joking. The sarcasm perhaps didn't land, but that is exactly the kind of joke that Matthew Perry makes.

The diversity criticisms for this show are ridiculous. Most tight knit group of friends are of the same social standing.

The diversity today displayed in most shows is also ridiculous. Always a POC (usually black), always a heavy person and always a gay person. Truly not realistic.

I was actually mad when they forced them together with a kid and the stupidity in the finale. They no longer made sense.

I would have been pissed if Ross and Rachel did not end up together. It's escapist entertainment. I want the happily ever after.

DP. In my opinion the writers drew out the Ross-Rachel thing for so long that I didn’t care about them getting together in the last episode. If you try so many times with someone and it never seems to work, maybe it’s just not meant to be!

Yes! The series lost me because no matter what it was - the topic was really drawn out way too long. Friends probably could have been condensed to five years, easy.

I felt at the time (I was the demographic/age they were going for) the characters were too much of something or another: Rachel was too princessy, Ross was too whiny, Phoebe was too ditsy, Chandler was too sarcastic (and I love sarcasm), Joey was too dunce-like, and Monica was too anal. I get it, they had to have a "thing", but they latched onto that "thing" instead of creating more interesting story lines.

Get out of my head! Are you me? By season 5 or so, the whole show was about the character flaws you mentioned above.

I watched until the end, but there is so much that bugged me.

I thought Chandler lost a lot of his sarcastic nature when he got with Monica.

And after Vegas, I was tired of will they / won’t they! They made Monica and Chandler work, Big Bang couples worked and still be funny. Amazing they couldn’t make Ross and Rachel work and still be funny.

If she was complicit in unhealthy lifestyle choices, then good.

Perhaps the opposite?

Perhaps she helped him get/stay sober, but the pressure of this stupid reunion threw him for a loop.

They were not average looking! Ross maybe. The rest of them were beautiful people in their 20s.

NP. Nope. The only one that was beautiful was CC. The others were very much average looking, especially for Hollywood.

I was hoping all the negative feedback he got about his reunion appearance served as a kick in the butt to clean up his act. But, you're right, we can't know either way.

I liked it! Yes, I thought some of it felt a little forced, but the trivia game was hilarious. And Janice!!

For those who say they were below average:

I came away from this reunion special loving Matt LeBlanc even more and feeling incredibly sad for Matthew Perry. It was heartbreaking to listen to him describe his anxiety over getting laughs throughout the entire show. He couldn't enjoy any of the success the show brought him.

A reboot would have been awful. I'm glad this format was chosen even though a lot of the emotion seemed forced. David and Matt were hands down the most genuine.

I agree that Matt and David seemed the happiest to be there, and were the most engaging.
