1. Woah matt Leblanc gained weight!
2. David Schwimmer looks great - aged very well
3. Courtney Cox - too much Botox and fillers.
4. Jennifer Aniston mumbles a lot ? Too many fillers ??
5. Lisa Kudrow - QUEEN
6. Matthew Perry - not as funny in real life.

7. James Corden should NOT be hosting this thing, but he is better then Ellen.
He sucks though. Should’ve gotten Andy Cohen

I liked it. I thought they did a good job highlighting the most memorable moments, although I feel like there were some things that were missing. It would have been fun to see Cole Sprouse as grown Ben, or some of the revolving love interests, and although I never felt like Paul Rudd really fit with the cast, it seemed weird that Phoebe’s husband never showed up. And LOL at Courtney Cox saying they’d never do another reunion special. Sure. I hope they drop some more deleted scenes.

Everyone looked pretty plastic except for Matt Leblanc and maybe, more subtlety, Lisa Kudrow. Matthew Perry didn’t sound so great. Has he had a stroke at some point?

Page Six is suggesting Perry stopped doing Cameos because of his slur. I’m wondering why he was doing Cameos in the first place. Could he have possibly blown through all the Friends money?

He's selling Covid/Friends merchandise, too, so not sure what is up with his finances. I thought they still got a couple million a year from the syndication.

I enjoyed it-- would have liked more. All of the women looked great. David S was the only guy to look good

What is Matt LeBlanc's story? Is he just living off residuals and decided not to work anymore so he let go of his looks?

Matt Perry had addiction issues (right?) so I see how that effected his looks.

It was okay - nice to see everyone together but it reminded me that the show didn't age well

Matt LeBlanc had the show Episodes which ran for several seasons. He basically played himself playing Joey. I don't think he has a lot of range.

Perry did have addiction issues but has worked off and on since Friends. He was last in The Kennedys in 2017 and apparently has a part in the DiCaprio/Jennifer Lawrence movie coming out this year.

Definitely agree that Friends has not aged well. I heard an interview where a millenial described it as desperately unfunny and that's really true. I think it just hit at the right time and with a good combination of cast members.

How did you watch this? I have HBOmax through Hulu and can't find it!

LeBlanc was hilarious in Episodes. I thought he had decent range in it—it was a great character with some growth to it. He also has a long running sitcom Man with A plan that looks awful in the traditional sitcom way.
The weight comment is funny because that was a whole episode in Episodes and I felt like LeBlanc seemed to have a pretty good sense of humor about his middle aged spread to make fun of it that way.

Perry had a string of really good sitcoms that got cancelled too quickly—three of them that I really enjoyed, then a terrible reboot of Odd Couple that weirdly lasted a while.

Matt was also in the spin-off from friends and in Man with a Plan (i have no idea if this show is still on, it came up as a suggestion in Hulu). I think is just embracing playing an older guy (versus stressing over trying to look unrealistically young).

I still think it was a waste to not do a true episode. This is just an interview. Would rather have seen them play their characters.

PP - I loved LeBlanc in Episodes - loved that whole show! I just don't think he was ever going to expand into dramatic or other roles. Out of all of the "Friends" he seems the most typecast.

It's interesting that the women have all continued to work pretty steadily and in high-profile projects.

It is amusing that those dorky dudes, with low paying jobs landed hot women like Rachael and Monica. Like King of Queens, hot wife, fat husband.

Paul Rudd is far more handsome and he ended up with the less conventionally beautiful Phoebe (though I love LK as a person and actor)

You're kind of missing the point though - remember Rachel was supposedly left by her ex for her best friend and Monica still felt like the always-a-friend fat girl. Ross, at least, had a good job and wasn't that unattractive, and Chandler was funny and always there for her - I totally know relationships like both of those in real life.

King of Queens I'm with you, but he was far less attractive than any of the Friends guys, plus lazy and obese.
