It would have been fun to see Cole Sprouse as grown Ben, or some of the revolving love interests, and although I never felt like Paul Rudd really fit with the cast, it seemed weird that Phoebe’s husband never showed up. And LOL at Courtney Cox saying they’d never do another reunion special. Sure. I hope they drop some more deleted scenes.

Everyone looked pretty plastic except for Matt Leblanc and maybe, more subtlety, Lisa Kudrow. Matthew Perry didn’t sound so great. Has he had a stroke at some point?

Page Six is suggesting Perry stopped doing Cameos because of his slur. I’m wondering why he was doing Cameos in the first place. Could he have possibly blown through all the Friends money?

This is weird, if they're claiming the slur was temporary from a dental procedure earlier in the day. Plus he looked awful. Yes Matt got heavy but he's still cute and I can see the appeal, and Schwimmer looks just like he always did. Tons of surgery for the women.

Matt looks fine. Let him live and enjoy his life.

Matt Perry had addiction issues (right?) so I see how that effected his looks.

It was okay - nice to see everyone together but it reminded me that the show didn't age well

Matt LeBlanc had the show Episodes which ran for several seasons. He basically played himself playing Joey. I don't think he has a lot of range.

Perry did have addiction issues but has worked off and on since Friends. He was last in The Kennedys in 2017 and apparently has a part in the DiCaprio/Jennifer Lawrence movie coming out this year.

Definitely agree that Friends has not aged well. I heard an interview where a millenial described it as desperately unfunny and that's really true. I think it just hit at the right time and with a good combination of cast members.

It is amusing that those dorky dudes, with low paying jobs landed hot women like Rachael and Monica. Like King of Queens, hot wife, fat husband.

Paul Rudd is far more handsome and he ended up with the less conventionally beautiful Phoebe (though I love LK as a person and actor)

You're kind of missing the point though - remember Rachel was supposedly left by her ex for her best friend and Monica still felt like the always-a-friend fat girl. Ross, at least, had a good job and wasn't that unattractive, and Chandler was funny and always there for her - I totally know relationships like both of those in real life.

King of Queens I'm with you, but he was far less attractive than any of the Friends guys, plus lazy and obese.

Plus, of the friends, Ross and Chandler were always portrayed as having higher paying jobs, until the end when Chandler tries changing his career.

He's selling Covid/Friends merchandise, too, so not sure what is up with his finances. I thought they still got a couple million a year from the syndication.

EACH cast member receives $20 MILLION (or more) per year!

The girls looked much better than the guys. I think Lisa may be the only one without cosmetic procedures. Go look at her in Table 19 - lots of wrinkles.

Surprised David looked heavy compared to a year or so ago.

Overall disappointing. Too many scenes from the show! We’ve seen the episodes. Give us more info and behind the scenes filming.

Jen and David finally admitted they had a big crush on each other. Herd to believe they did NOT have something on the side even for a brief time.

No interest in watching them reminisce. They should have done the two-hour TV movie I described in the other thread.

Schwimmer is trying way too hard to look and dress young. His face looks weird.

Courtney ruined her face. She needs a short haircut and less harsh makeup.

Aniston is starting to get a puffy face. And she mumbles. Is that from plastic surgery or is she medicated?

Lisa looks lovely. Natural.

I’m in my mid-40s, watched friends when it originally aired and enjoyed it, and I think it holds up. The show is funny. Ross had the best lines and Schwimmer was the best actor of the 6.

But Rudd was the most talented of them all. It’s a shame he wasn’t included. He’s aged the best of all of them, and he’s still relevant. He will act well into old age.

Was Janice there? She’s a gem!

Everyone except for Lisa and Matt look so uncomfortably plastic, puffy, and I don't know, just kind of mess trying to look like they are still in their 20s. Marta Kauffman, one of the writers looks like she has aged gracefully and looks lovely. I actually found it uncomfortable to look at Matthew, David, Courtney and Jen.

Matt LeBlanc must have an excellent toupee. He even said in previous interviews he went prematurely gray and bald right after Friends started. You can even see some comb overs in the back center of his head in some shots.

Matthew seemed better in the reunion than in the interviews. He seems to be the only one who has done nothing to keep in shape or looking good.

David looked a little puffy, weight?

Jen looks good but her age is starting to show.

I do not know if Court’s looks are based on age or previous fillers. She did say in an older interview she only did fillers and they all dissolved.

Lisa looks good and natural.

Yes, Courtney's and Jen's filler work is painful to behold (amazing bods though). They should just give in and have lifts. Would look so much better.

I was really surprised by Matt's weight gain. Otherwise a handsome guy with a lovely smile, a shame. Matthew...

I read the producers had a problem with one cast member. I think to the point of either firing or not having them in episodes. The other cast members walked off the set in support of their cast member. This happened twice. No one would say who it was but everyone assumed it was Perry who was in rehab twice during the shows run on NBC. A very tight group,

I agree, Matt L looks fine. Matthew Perry had a lisp on the graham Norton show years ago.

I enjoyed it, and I wasn't a Friends superfan.

Lisa Kudrow is the oldest of the women and agree she looks great and natural. Courtney has had too much done and looks so unnatural.

I feel so bad for Matthew Perry. To have so much and waste it all by going through life with an addiction - I really feel for him. I wonder if it was hard for him to come back to the set and remember.

I have never gotten why the show was so popular and beloved. I enjoyed it, it's clever and funny....but I could say that about many shows. That said, because it is such a phenomena it was fun to revisit and look at its impact.

Thank you for this! What a pain.

I am a big fan of the show, so overall I enjoyed it. I do think it is a little bit boring. Can't put my finger on it. There was no good gossip or "revelations".

I did enjoy seeing the "Gellars". Those are some of the funniest episodes of the show.
