PK boy accepted at Beauvoir, 99%, great rec, no priority.

K accept Norwood, waitlist Maret and GDS, reject Sidwell. The rejection and non-real waitlists hurt a little bit, but we are thrilled (it would be nice to be turning a bunch of schools down, ego-wise, but that is not the hand very many people get dealt). I liked Maret, DH liked Sidwell, and we both liked Norwood, so maybe it was meant to be? Good luck to all.

Just got a waitlist letter, with "hand written" note on bottom saying "We hope a place opens up for **** At Maret" and a reply card saying send by Mar 19 to hold spot on list. Now, this kid has been in DCPS since K, is totally well-rounded and kind, scored 90 on SSAT in that pool and 98 nationwide on it, straight A's nearly every year, speaks two languages, and I know he did a great interview. So, I've no clue but it really turns me off to the school. Hopefully I'll get a positive for our 1st choice (Maret was our 2nd).

OP asked only for " . . . school, gender, outcome." Quit your babbling.

Last year, we were accepted Sidwell, Norwood, and wait-listed at GDS. We picked Norwood (yes, we turned down Sidwell) and are extremely happy there. I hope you and your child will be too!

PP Yay Norwood! We loved the Norwood acceptance letter! Very welcoming.

Babbling? It's sharing information that may be common to other parents seeking clues. It must be happy hour at your place, 19:58 --why else would you be so hostile?
