Maret, boy, 7th. Just got a waitlist letter, with "hand written" note on bottom saying "We hope a place opens up for **** At Maret" and a reply card saying send by Mar 19 to hold spot on list. Now, this kid has been in DCPS since K, is totally well-rounded and kind, scored 90 on SSAT in that pool and 98 nationwide on it, straight A's nearly every year, speaks two languages, and I know he did a great interview. So, I've no clue but it really turns me off to the school. Hopefully I'll get a positive for our 1st choice (Maret was our 2nd).

Waitlisted for 1st grade at Holy Trinity. The letter said they had zero spots available for new kids this year.
