| OMG! Please do not go there with "winning combination", because a lot of parents will take it to heart. Take it from someone who has sat in those decisions. Sometimes it is as simple as tons of connected kids for very few slots. It sucks, but especially on the lower end, or a huge entry year end, you would be surprised how many alum connected, sibs and faculty/staff kids, oh and BIG DONOR/NAME recognized families ge the slots. |
