Wow- there are some awful people in here. She dresses like majority of women her age. She looks nice

I would wear the blazer above. Veronica Beard

I am honestly a little surprised and would have expected dark suits that would not have stood out in any way. I actually appreciate the relative boldness and nod to style.

I agree. Not my style, I but I think she looks nice.

My hair is the same color as hers and it’s brown. It’s brown, people.

I think you either need a trip to the eye doctor, or to turn the light up on your screen's display. Otherwise, next thing you know, you'll say she's a POC. Because that ain't no brunette.

you dont know what brunette is.

I like her natural look. She looks athletic. But - what is that outfit?!

Some of you have been upset she hasn’t worn a blazer. So here she is in a blazer and a blouse. What’s wrong with it?

She wore a jacket yesterday.

Very schoolmarm and just kind of ugly. But it’s the least of my issues with her.

I’m Catholic and if a crime scene sketch artist asked me to describe ACB ... before I saw her... just looking at her resume I could have literally described her.

It’s so weird how all my Catholic friends are exactly the same. The mouse brown hair straightened hair with wispiness/flyaways , the wrinkles around the eyes/lips/nose/brow, the jawline, the moles, the nude pink lip stain, the micro blade eyebrows, the Catholic school uniform.

Women are women’s own worst enemies.

That's your opinion and I disagree. Some of us think she would benefit from working with a voice coach. It is not only for politicians btw.

+1

As Chris Coons (Democrat from Delaware) questioned her yesterday, her voice got increasingly lower in pitch and higher in authoritative tone.

I had written about her voice yesterday and agreed with writers on here who suggested the dress was too casual for these hearings. I think the blazer is an improvement.

It's def an improvement - but the overall outfit gives the sense of a work from home day where she tossed a blazer over a t-shirt for a Zoom call.

I dunno. It's better than the Trump hoochie look. She looks pretty earthy like this. It just doesn't seem like what you wear to your mfin Supreme Court confirmation hearing.

Anyway, maybe she just irks me and that's why even her stupid boring normal clothes irk me. There's a touch of Elizabeth Warren style in what she wears - Christian midwesterner, maybe? - and I love it on Warren, so maybe it is that.

This made me laugh, thanks. She irks me too, as do her "stupid, boring, normal clothes."I imagine her perfume would irk me too, "Sanctimonious...by Calvin Klein" And I'm an east coast Catholic so I can say it..plus this has all put me in a bad mood, apologies to the offended.

It's raining today. Her hair looks like anyone else's who blow dried / flat ironed and then stepped out into humid air. I'm not going to snark on flyaways; my hair does much worse things in the horrid DC climate.

You both need to invest in better hair products then.

What do you recommend?

Yes! Please tell us! My hair looked like this all weekend and last few days. I don’t have dry hair, but it gets frizzy as f@ck and flyaway about 5 months out of the year in DC. Only a professional blowout stops the frizz and since I work from home I only do that for a very special occasion—I’m in a wedding or something.

Do you think her voice is part of this same persona?

Good god, that voice. Terrible. The worst part is that when she is defensive, she drops the little girl simpering (see her responses to Chris Coons), which means she CAN talk like a grown woman, she just chooses not to.

She is a disgrace.
