He was obviously not what he appeared to be. Just because he was good looking, had an attractive wife and beautiful children does not mean that he was also a good person nor was his life as picture perfect as it might have seemed. The guy had significant financial problems, he was cheating on his wife and he was apparently fine with "doing away" with his own children.

He was a fit, attractive man with a beautiful family, friends and a job paying 60K a year. Still he did this. Obviously, looks aren't everything. Ted Bundy and Scott Peterson were attractive, lying killers, too.

The guy likely strangled 3 people to death. From what I've read, strangling a person with your bare hands is not a particularly easy thing to do. But that's what he did.

Oh, and then he tried to make it sound like he strangled his wife because he saw her strangling the children on the baby monitor. I think he killed the kids before she got home and that is what their "emotional conversation" was about when she walked in and realized what he had done. He was punishing her because he is a cold blooded, selfish lunatic.

It's interesting that his lawyer asked for the kids' necks to be focused on in the autopsy. Why would they ask this unless they know that her DNA would be on their necks and the indentations/bruises from strangulation would match her hand/finger size.

I am confused. They said the kids were in the oil well for several days but the mother was missing for 12 hours tops. Seems that they were killed several days before the mother. That story doesn't add up. She snapped and killed the kids before going on her business trip and he only got upset about it and snapped after she returned?

I think caring for the kids while he was not coping with stress set him over the edge. If I’m having a hard day with kids, I know how to take care of myself and the situation to make sure I don’t snap at them. My dh doesn’t have as much practice, and has me, and doesn’t have the knowlegde to prevent snapping sometimes (yelling, not hat bad in terms of how bad yelling could get, and not anything physical).

This dad probably made those kids miserable all weekend long. The kids probably came along asking him to play or to go outside, and he probably wanted/wished to do anything but be a parent. At some point he probably snapped and hurt one ofnhe girls beyond repair, by strangling. Killed her. Shocked, he probably decided to just kill the other one.

He probably disposed of them first, then when wife came home in the middle of he night and wanted to kiss them in their beds, questioned where they were. That’s when he killed wife too, then disposed of her between 2-5am. Then went to work...
