What kind of guy sees prostitutes?

Anonymous
Women here learn how to give blowjobs yet?

They aren't paid for sex. They are paid to go away.

I knew a very charismatic, handsome guy who had no shortage of girlfriends and lovers who had also been with prostitutes (while on a theater tour in Russia, no less).

He slept with them because he wanted to have sex with two women at once and there was no fuss because he was paying.

How long am I supposed to wait?

This I understand.
Though still a bit sad - why not a relationship?
I have crazy sex with husband at 50 but if something happened to him I would not give to some random guy what I give to him.
You are right about that it would have to be a relationship

it is sad.

But I am just not ready for the drama, the arguments, the family conflicts, the over the top spending of money, the monthly duty sex, and the voice in my head of my DD asking whats wrong with mommy from when she would stumble around at night, looking for her hidden bottle.

So I am ready to pay for it. Not sure how to do it though. Need advice.

Backpage which is similar to Craigslist, however also pay for a subscription to a "review" website like TER, as someone else mentioned. If the escort uses a verification service, that's a good thing. There's too many scams out there. Meet them at a hotel, maybe even use a burner phone.

I think of the lawyer in DC who was murdered a year or two ago (was discussed on DCUM too) at a hotel near his office. He ordered a man, and got a woman and her female accomplice who robbed and murdered him.

Other way is abroad. For example, it's highly regulated in Germany at FKK clubs, so it's a safe environment and you won't get ripped off either. Prices are even standardized (German efficiency!).

Thank you! Great advice.

If the wife puts out then no reason to cheat. Every marriage is differrent I have never cheated on my ex during marriage because of moral. Divorced her now for cheating, go figure.
Now would I hire a hooker you ask..yes absolutely if she's hot. It's harder for men to get any. We have to wine and dine do the dating game and so on. Sometimes you just want to get past that just to blow off a load. Unlike women all you have to do is show you want it and any warm blooded guy is all over you.
Sorry if you find men that does disgusting but it is what it is. But saying a guy using escort is a bad guy is going too far.

God, I wish I were a lesbian. This guy is far too common.

Well, you are just supposed to know better than to date guys like this.

Well, it seems like you could find a 'friends with benefits' type gal to have a nice relationship with with few strings attached.
Do some nice things together sometimes, hang out, have a physical relationship and then go home.
Seems like you could make it very clear you aren't doing that . If she wants more just move on if that's what you want.

Barring that I'd recommend a trip to Amsterdam.

Just for those who seem to think that Amsterdam and Germany represent ethical use of prostitution....

Please read

http://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2012/04/19/is-legalized-prostitution-safer/legalizing-prostitution-leads-to-more-trafficking

which begins, "As a teenager, I worked in Germany’s legal sex industry. I was, like many girls in the club, underage; most of us were immigrants, nearly all of us had histories of trauma and abuse prior to our entry into commercial sex. Several of us had pimps despite working in a legal establishment; all of us used copious amounts of drugs and alcohol to get through each night......"

and for those who really want to understand issues of agency and consent, please read up on the Netherlands experience, where it has become apparent that legalization of prostitution has only increased human trafficking and the economics and safety of prostitution are terrible despite legalization.

Those of you who choose to believe that women choose prostitution simply because it is an easy, lucrative career, clearly haven't been doing your research. You shouldn't rest easy if you are using these services.

many women use sex for their advantage. trading sex for whatever is important to them. is it really that different?

This.

So if there is an explicit quid pro quo up front and a man pays a woman $200 for sex that's bad. But if a woman insists on being wined and dined before having sex with a man that's an acceptable "date".

Thanks for explaining girls.

All women use sex or the suggestion of it to gain what they want in life, if they can. Unattractive or psychologically disturbed women have difficulty taking advantage of their feminity and are prone to reactively rebel against it.

The notion that prostitution is involuntarily forced upon most women at least in America QED Western Europe is laughable. Women who are saying this are frustrated house fraus projecting their own feelings that their husbands are forcing them to be house fraus onto other women differently situated who they have no clue about.

Not 11:47, but wow. You must never left the U.S., read, or watch TV, if you think an average American woman is oppressed into prostitution. Again, wow.

NP. I think there's a difference between saying "the average American woman is oppressed into prostitution" and "the average US prostitute was oppressed into her prostitution". The former is probably not true, but the latter probably is."

I honestly don't see how American prostitutes are oppressed into their vocation. (Obviously, I am talking about grown women, not abused teenagers.)

There is plenty of research that shows that the average prostitute is not happy, is kind of screwed up, and doesn't know how to get out. And prostitution in much of the country is essentially human trafficking.

I believe that a young girl put out on the streets who 'chooses' prostitution to survive (legal or illegal) is an innocent harmed, and that we should be trying to prevent that. I think legalization is the right choice because it would protect sex workers but to act like the majority of women who choose to become sex workers are doing so because that was what they wanted to be when they are a little girl is really being intentionally obtuse.

Oh for crying out loud, who is happy? Two thirds of the population are on anti-depressants or other stimulants of some sort. Maybe living in an affluent area affects your bias, but look outside your echo chamber. Most people are overworked and underpaid. Most people don't get to be what they wanted to be as little children.

It isn't exactly sexy to talk about how your profession is soul sucking and makes you feel like dying inside but sure, believe that women are totally into it if it helps you sleep at night.

You are taking this too personally and applying your logic to another person's way of thinking, that is all.

Pretty much. I'm a woman, and this juxtaposition always makes me laugh
