She's also looking at Swarthmore. She still seems undecided.

All the media attention that the school would receive for her being there. Imagine if she did attend a strong liberal arts school that wasn't universally known like Scripps. They would probably be flooded with applications for next year.

Pretty certain Scripps would still suck.

Wow. DD visited Scripps and it's an amazing place. It far from "sucks." With the new popularity of schools like Pomona and Claremont McKenna, it's set to rise in the ranks.

It's a gorgeous campus.

This chatter is nuts.

Scripps is tied with Barnard (a school people are highly betting she'll attend) on this ranking list. And yes the campus is beautiful.

UDC -- which DC councilman, perennial candidate and corrupt buffoon Vincent Orange wants to rename as "Marion Crackhead University of the District of Columbia."

No one is betting she'll attend Barnard. That was an April Fools story in a Columbia online student publication

Even without the April Fools Joke, my guess would be she picks NYU or Columbia/Barnard with Stanford or Swarthmore (recent visits) still in the running. Malia visits NYC frequently and seems very fond of the city.

Columbia and Barnard are not the same institution. Columbia is a lot more competitive of a school (and it's co-ed).
