WES Head of School resigns

Is 13:28 a current parent? Because I AM a current parent with a child in 4th grade. And I don't have any complaints about either 4th grade teacher, or the one support teacher.

The children do not cycle through. There are moved based on their level in the appropriate subject, and the teacher teaching at that level teaches accordingly. Children may move if they improve in a certain area or if they need additional support.

My child adores all three teachers in this grade.

Wow! WES 4th grade teachers tailor the curriculum for every student in that grade?

14:04 again - what does the curriculum have to do with a teacher yelling at the students?

13:42 again.

I ask again, is 13:28 a current parent?

I am. Of a 4th grader.

The teachers don't teach at an individual level, but at a group level, and I don't know a school that doesn't move children around based on learning styles or levels. I have friends at at a myriad of private and public schools in the area, and they all do the same thing.

It is unusual to move children around "according to their level". That's done when the class isn't coherent. At WES, there are specialists who assist when a child has a problem or needs a boost. That's a nice feature, but it's nuts to suggest all kids "move around".

My child, as well as others, have not seen a specialist, but have "moved around" based on their level…don't appreciate something being called nuts when it has happened to us.

Why isn't the school informing us about the very recent termination of a teacher? No info .

Why don't you ask the school if you are interested what "personal reasons" mean?

I have. No info.

There is so much drama - this school could have a reality show!
