What planet am I on? I am going to beat my head into a wall.
They have that weird old-person shape, weird grey lining, devoid of any style.

Agree with you. They look like assisted-living-outing shoes.

Outfits for those sandals:

I actually would like a pair of flat peep toe sandals like the yellow ones, but in a neutral color. Issue me my capri pants and drop me off at Bingo, folks.

The funny thing is those women are wearing much better sandals than the monstrosities people keep posting for their weird foot problems.

I think this picture makes the point that ... it's not the shoes.

One of these old ladies is wearing plain white sneakers, which is repeatedly offered in this thread as a "less hideous" alternative to old-lafy sneakers. The other two look nothing like the orthotic sandals that people here hate. If you put these same shoes from these pictures on a cute 25yo with good hair and stylish clothes, they'd look great. In this picture, they look like little old lady shoes ... because they are on little old ladies.

Comfortable sandals can look fine if the rest of the package is put together well. They'll look ugly if the rest of the outfit is frumpy, and they'll look like granny sandals if you look like a granny.

You’ll be a granny one day if you’re lucky. Maybe stop hating?

Nobody asked for ugly shoes for plantar fasciitis. Why are you so bent out of shape?

This is completely true.

Are you dense? Look up the brands then find styles you like. Everyone doesn't like ankle straps. Some like slides, mules or flip flops. Universally, nobody likes the disgusting sandals you keep posting.
I haven't posted anything.

You know what is worse than grandma sandles? A pathetic high maintenance woman who puts fashion above actually being able to walk on vacation. Also you are ugly on the inside.

What's the problem then? Brands are listed, that's a major head start.

Bless your heart. Ugly shoes go with the ugly attitude.

What about the Rothy's Espadrille? I own them in several colors. Lightweight and breathable.

I'm curious about the specific comfortable sandals you don't think are ugly.

I have the Toni Pons "Caldes" which are similar but more of a wedge heel that I like.
