So you think "please baby" is sexual assault? |
FFS. Why are there so many rape apologists on here? Sexual assault is defined as nonconsensual sexual experiences ranging from unwanted sexual contact to physically forced penetration. Verbal sexual coercion (VSC), a form of sexual assault, is psychological pressure to have coerced sex. Stop defending men who admit to sexually assaulting their partners. Are you triggered because you also do this often? |
Lotta people who don't seem to understand consent posting on this thread, about women being victimized. Yikes. |
Never had. 😂😂😂😂 |
No. I did find myself in a sketchy area late at night and like an idiot got out of my car to make a phone call at strip mall (pay phone) and with no one else standing around, a man approached me. I acted like someone was waiting for me in the car and waved, which at that point the guy walked in a different direction. I still have no idea if he was going to do something or what. I ran back to the car and got out of there. I also hitchhiked once and that was also really dumb.

No. Or to anyone I know. |
I was on a tour to Tijuana with my mom when I was around 10. We got off the tour bus, and immeidately were surrounded by people, and someone grabbed my wrist and was showing me bracelets as they were pulling me away. I think the play was to make it look like theyre showing you jewellery, but dragging you away. Luckily my mom panicked and found me pretty quick, but it was definitely sketchy. |
Being a nice neighbor and good Samaritan these days is being a "loser". ![]() |
Not really. Women account for about 40-50% of sexual cases involving minors. |
Most definitely. Rape is barely even registered as a crime in many countries, much less lesser sexual assaults. |
Coercive does not mean *just* verbally persuading. It goes beyond that and it's repulsive and sometimes there is an unspoken threat that the female picks up so she's operating from a place of fear. In that situation, I would not characterize it as she "relented" and now "regrets". This is what happened to me when I was 17 and a college freshman. My car wouldn't start one night. A friend of a classmate who I had seen around campus a few times offered to give me a ride. Instead of taking me where I wanted to go, he drove to to the most dangerous part of town to a dark, deserted parking lot filled with broken glass, no street lights and questionable people roaming the nearby streets looking to buy/sell drugs & sex. Back there, out of vocal reach of anyone, he tried to make a move. I rejected him. He told me if I didn't agree, he would take my clothes, shoes and wallet and leave me all alone to find my way back. I probably would have been raped multiple times if not killed. So, did I relent or did he physically force me? In my 30's, a coworker and I were discussing this type of thing. She told me in college, she and another girl agreed to go with 2 guys across the border to Tijuana to have a nice night dining, drinking and dancing. The 2 guys somehow had access to a room and started pressuring my coworker and her friend. They rejected their advances and said they were just there for fun. The guys threatened to take their IDs and leave them behind in Mexico if they didn't agree. So, did they relent or did the guys physically force them? |
I just looked up studies and found that women commit 4% of sex crimes against minors, and another 4% combined with men. Where do you get 40-50%? |
This is complete bullish*t and you know it. Why would you lie like this? |
I would consider those "threats of force" not coercion, especially the first one which is kidnapping so it's not just a threat, there was already a crime committed before the rape. I'm sorry that happened to you. |
I had what I thought was a possible near kidnapping while working in the Middle East in my 20s. I was being followed on my way home from work by a car when one of the guys got out and started following me on foot. Then the car pulled around and was up ahead of me with the other guy behind me. I was able to run into a store and call my employer’s security, who also thought it was an attempt.
Another time in India, also in 20s not long after, I had an auto rickshaw driver take me somewhere other than where I directed. He groped me before I was able to get out and run. Two of the scariest experiences in my life |
