All three starting midfielders made all-conference, two as freshmen, and their returning senior captain was, and will be again, a legit WCAC POY candidate. You may want to review your scouting card there.

Does the WCAC select POY from the 2nd or 3rd place team?

POY last year played at PVI.

Not odd if you paid attention, player is now at Florida and did everything for her team but play goalie. GC was riddled with injuries during the year and no player really stood out. GC coach didn't even nominate anyone from his team.

The odd thing is that you can never find the awards/all conference teams anywhere online? The WCAC rarely updates their web site.

Individual schools' post on Instagram. That's your best bet.

It’s going to come down to the Saints and Stone Ridge this year. GC has the edge in the WCAC and not likely to lose to any conference foes. Feel free to come back to this post in May. I told you so….

Inter-league schedules and play will be interesting. Lots of good 2029s distributed across the top ISL and WCAC programs; we will see if any make an immediate impact.

Potomac won Virginia state title last year, and lost in OT to Stone Ridge in ISL Semi's after beating them 8-3 in regular season.
