A win over Visitation, a second-tier team, does not indicate that SJC has reached top-tier status. |
| Saints will win everything. Totally stacked. |
Agreed. Very few 2029s are even going to make varsity on those six teams let alone make an impact. SJC was an unusual situation last year with a good group of freshman able to step and in and make an immediate impact. This is not the norm for top WCAC and ISL teams where only a couple of freshman or less might make varsity each year. |
They were stacked last year too. Lost to some team in San Diego and then ran out of gas at the end of the season. |
| That “team in San Diego” finished the season ranked in the top 25 |
What happened to the mighty Saints down the stretch when things really mattered last year? Think they lost by double digits in last game. |
SR smacked the Saints around pretty good. Should be closer this year. |
Highly doubt it. Saints are all frosting and no cake. |
Saints have more commits on the bench than Coronado has on their entire roster. |
This is DMV lacrosse in a nutshell. All Smoke and mirrors. |
And they have KJ, the greatest coach of all time. They made the SSSA motto after her cause she has so much good “goodness in her heart.” |
Visi is not a second tier team in any capacity. |
So SJC and Visi are both also in the top tier. Here is the new list. Sorry Potomac
Top Tier (in no particular order) GC SR SSSAS SJC Visi Second Tier Potomac |
Here is how I see it, in no particular order. Tier I: GC SR Saints Tier II SJC Potomac Visi Visi has a new coach, will be very interesting to see how the Cubs perform this year. 2nd-year coach at SJC has the Cadets moving in the right direction. Potomac graduated a lot, but they have some good pieces left. |
Same list, but an exciting new format! |
