Visi is likely being underestimated. Potomac lost a lot, but not everything. SJC has a second year with their new coach and lots of returning contributors.

Who has the strongest 2029s? Any contributors expected from this group for the top teams across ISL and WCAC? Haight and KJ don't let Freshman play, of course, but I imagine they could help some of the others.

Can PVI and BI reset and be competitive after losing their top players?

My early pre-season take

1. GC
2. SR
3. Saints
4. SJC
5. Potomac
6. VISI

It should be SSSA for ISL champs. They’ve basically gutted the future of the program to get a championship with this senior class. It’s now or never.

For those picking the Saints for ISL, what is your confidence level that they can avoid the late-season swoon that hit them last year? They looked to be the strongest team in the ISL up until the last 7-10 days. SR, on the other hand, got better toward the final weeks.

How have they gutted the program? By not letting the younger kids play?

Did the SJC goalie graduate? I thought she was very good.

Their midfield looked like it was starting to click towards the end of last season as well, and they were young if I remember correctly.

Rational post ahead: First, I would say that GC should still be favored to defend their title again. That said, the PP is far from "delusional". Your critiques also miss the mark.

The SJC goalie is solid, returning for senior year, and their midfield is far from a weakness. All three starting midfielders made all-conference, two as freshmen, and their returning senior captain was, and will be again, a legit WCAC POY candidate. You may want to review your scouting card there.

Not odd if you paid attention, player is now at Florida and did everything for her team but play goalie. GC was riddled with injuries during the year and no player really stood out. GC coach didn't even nominate anyone from his team.

The odd thing is that you can never find the awards/all conference teams anywhere online? The WCAC rarely updates their web site.
