This is funny as an outsider. People dislike him so much that he is the coach at the best HS and summer teams in the area, and had a nice job at a top club team. He also was handpicked to run the aquatics program at tuckahoe and now has loyal followers willing to join him there. Sounds like people actually can’t get enough of this guy. But a few people here on the boards have a bone to pick. My guess is a combo of York/machine/overlee people

My daughter swims with T and personally I think he’s an amazing coach. Very knowledgeable and driven.

My daughter enjoys his coaching style and has learned a great deal from him.

While others may disagree there is a simple solution to that…don’t swim for him. There are plenty of other options out there. Coming on here and complaining seems to be pointless. What are you actually solving by speaking ill about someone else?

Not the PP but am an impacted machine parent. I think I speak for a few others when I say we don’t care enough about T (or even know of him) to comment about good coach/bad coach/good person/bad person blah blah blah.

Not the PP but am an impacted machine parent. I think I speak for a few others when I say we don’t care enough about T (or even know of him) to comment about good coach/bad coach/good person/bad person blah blah blah.

Also an impacted Machine parent and agree. Not sure why some posters are taking it in a direction of personally attacking him.

NP but also Machine family with multiple swimmers impacted by this and not even considering switching to his new club. We like our coaches, as well as, the benefits of a larger club including the meets they attend and host.

T is not everyone's cup of tea. He is all business (even at 10 and under age) and the sportsmanship of Yorktown and Tuckahoe leave a bit to be desired. If you want the hyper competitive, succeed at all costs mentality, his new team might be for you.

This is important. People considering his new team should not discount meets.
