Typical low IQ MAGA take. |
Typical dim gaslighting from progressives with no ability to substantively address issues. You are why Trump will win. |
Shut it. You’re not fighting “progressives.” You’re fighting party-line Democrats who themselves hate the progressive wing of the party. |
It doesn’t matter. The refusal to deal with what people across the country are experiencing and living (and instead gaslighting them) is going to cost Democrats the election. Democrats depend on voter turnout to win. That happens when people feel heard and feel like their reality is at least seen. The Democrats aren’t doing that now and instead going all out with gaslighting. It’s a failing strategy. |
So leaning into the gaslighting, I see. |
They think “making America great again” is derogatory. |
You mean, the same McKinsey that Trump has hired on many occasions? I mean...no...it can't be. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/03/us/mckinsey-ICE-immigration.html https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/trump-world-health-organization-china-kushner-mckinsey-coronavirus-task-force-984437/ https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-administration-hires-mckinsey-to-evaluate-student-loan-portfolio-11556728035 |
Well, it is a conundrum...apparently, America sucked until 2016...then I guess it was great from 2016-2020...then it sucked from 2020-present (my stock portfolio says differently...but who cares). I mean, even if Trump wins, America will only be great from 2024-2028 and then it will suck again. |
Oh please...try looking up how many McKinsey consultants Biden, Obama all the way down to Clinton have had in advising their cabinets or their alumni from McKinsey they've appointed to govt positions. It's really not hard to understand - THE ENTIRE SWAMP is corrupted from top to bottom with corporate interests, lobbyists for those corporate interests, and consultants playing the US govt like a fiddle for those corporate interests. It's entirely laughable you think it is GOP only when the lobbyists and consulting firms destroying the foundations of our country are liberal elite university trained and educated. You're basically insinuating that Yale, Princeton, Harvard, etc..only produce Republicans who go work for terrible firms like McKinsey. That's absolutely false. Who was in office again during peak of the opioid epidemic? That's right, Obama was. And his govt was filled with McKinsey people pulling the string behind the scenes getting Americans addicted to opioids. And you wonder why Americans are so pissed at the govt when the entire system has been corrupted by regulatory and special interest capture? Whether you like it or not, Trump is able to tap into that anger. People in the middle of the country earning $12 per hour who were laid off because some Harvard University grad working for a consulting firm came up with the brilliant plan for cost cutting to earn fees for their firm identify with Trump who says he will torch the swamp more so than Dems who offer more of the same. |
Hey, PP said Trump supporters hate the elites that work at McKinsey and Trump is out to correct that. Just pointing out that Trump uses McKinsey all the time. I mean, how can you write your screed and defend Trump when Trump hires McKinsey on many occasions and will continue to do so. |
The billionaire backers who are the money behind the bread n' circus of the Fox/Trump resentment machine are not any different from the "McKinsey-ites" being dissed above. That's what Trump voters don't get. That Trump is absolutely no different (and honestly a lot worse). And I don't get the connection made by the PP above re immigration and widespread homelessness/drug addiction. I live downtown and the drug addicted homeless and mentally ill are not, by and large, recent immigrants. Recent immigrants are mowing the lawns, washing the dishes, cleaning the office buildings and every other low paying wage job that people born in this country will not do. |
What is Trump doing to deal with what I am experiencing and living? All I hear from him are petty insults and complaining about how the world is unfair to him. |
Progressive here. They really, really do. Then they get super upset when we’re not jazzed about their candidate. |
People are so simple and so gullible. This guy has been this same selfish bigoted corrupt idiot for a full decade. How can anyone listen to him for a minute and believe “He is the only one who really cares about me!” |
They don’t believe he cares for them. They believe nobody cares for them, and Trump validates that feeling. He tells them that yes, they are correct, nobody actually cares about you or your issues. I think this group of voters has given up entirely on any politicians trying to actually care about them, so they vote for the one who at least makes them feel heard. |
