Agreed. I'm an Independent and in some ways, one would think I'm conservative because of all these things; pro-police, strong border control, thinks trans women have no place in women's sports.. However, I am pro-choice and very much pro-gun control. I feel like I don't have a home in either party.

I don’t think trans women belong in women’s sports either but I’m smart enough to notice that republicans don’t otherwise care about or support women’s athletics; they’re using it as a wedge issue to begin attacking trans rights altogether and then on to attacking gay rights. LGBTQIA+ deserve human rights. See the long game.

We need where to go that is not GOP, but also not the Democratic Party.

Keep looking for that unicorn which can’t exist in our current system. Or you can just get on the bus that’s going forward instead of the bus that’s going backward.

You lack imagination. And Dems don’t understand independents which means they will keep getting blindsided.

Republicans don't seem to understand that 2024 will be about reproductive rights. They will continue to be blindsided until they accept this reality.

True, but it’s the Dems I’m more likely to support. I want to see them get back on track; but it’s highly unlikely.

In what way are actual Democratic policies - not whatever you saw on TikTok or what some non profit in California is doing, but actual Democratic policies - on the wrong track?

Who was it that was blindsided in the last three elections? Not the Democrats.

They were blindsided by Trump as the most obvious example. Abortion will likely hold them at the presidential level for 2024 unless the economy really tanks in away that everyday people define it for themselves.

Nope. The options are fascist, speech-policing imbeciles, or else Republicans.

So no choice at all, is what you are saying.

Democrats certainly don't offer a "choice" when it comes to speaking and opinions. There is only your way, or the highway. I'll take the highway, thanks.

I feel like two Tennessee Democratic politicians have something to say. As do trans kids across several states. As do women unable to access healthcare. School children who aren’t allowed to learn American history because it might make them “feel bad.”

I can’t imagine why the OP wants to align with these “social conservatives.”

Sure - and plenty of Republicans have something to say too. The issue is, they are shouted down whenever they try and say it. Judge Kyle Duncan, Riley Gaines, basically any conservative-leaning person is required to stay silent.

So weird because I see them flapping thier fat lips on TV, the radio and the internet every day. You can say WTF you want and so can I. I can call your opinions garbage if I want. I can encourage boycotts if I want. JUST LIKE Rs do.

If that's true why did conservatives hate him so much?

Not op but — I’m 100% pro choice but anti thots

Hookup culture is gross

Tattoos are gross and should be taxed

Onlyfans and porn is gross

Broken families are terrible

Too many bastards are being born

Things that some people find "gross" are not really supposed to be fodder for politics and laws. See "Freedumb"

We need to shut down GOP "pro life" rhetoric once and for all. They have repeatedly proven they do not actually value life or quality of life. They are only pro-pregnancy and pro-birth. They aren't actually pro life.

You're being ridiculous. "no home in either party". Snort. Ooh is so hard to choose between a tiny fraction of incidents where swimmers have the "wrong" genitals and whether or not 50% of the population has reproductive rights. Don't know WHICH party could keep kids from getting shot in school. Gosh what a head scratcher!

If only Biden took the border seriously: https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2023/03/09/fact-sheet-president-bidens-budget-strengthens-border-security-enhances-legal-pathways-and-provides-resources-to-enforce-our-immigration-laws/

Immigration for one thing. Immigration is a good thing, the free-for-all we currently have is unsustainable. Neither party addresses this — Dems have given up despite reporting many. It will take take working more effectively with Mexico AND Canada, and possibly going to war against the cartels iand Central American gangs that exploit the people we supposedly care about.

Sorry but Clinton and Obama were pro choice.

Yes, I have no issue with that. I stand by it-- Bill Clinton is ideal.

Whatever you want to label yourself is fine. You vote for a democrat on election day so good. Call yourself a republican or whatever you want as long as you vote pro choice.

I'm confused why you are weighing in on what I label myself. You would not find me to be pro-choice (nor would 1990s Bill Clinton be pro-choice) by today's standards because I believe abortion should have some restrictions. Obama would also be too conservative for today's left.

Are you kidding? I'd have him back in a heartbeat. Michele Obama 2024!

I think you should seek IVF or any other medical procedure with the advice and counsel of your doc and stay out of it with regards to other people's medical issues. Not your concern. I can't imagine inserting myself into your personal medical decisions.

I think IVF obviously kills babies so anyone who did it or does it and disposed of embryos should be charged with a crime.

Also let's start stoning adulterers again.

Once abortion is restored to legal status, it is a toss-up and hard to say which way things will go. The overturning of Roe v Wade actually helped Dem candidates a lot.

No, I mean policies. I see Democrats attempting to meet with Republicans on immigration and Republicans rebuffing them at every turn. Which specific Democratic policies.

Such a useful idea. Lets lock up between 25 and 59 percent of the women of this country for being criminals for fertility treatments , IVF, abortions etc. And all the men involved as well.
