I know Tennessee well. I am from the Kingsport area where people identify their church affiliation when they first meet. Also, a lot of them are on the dole for “disability” while worrying about what the blacks in town are getting in terms of benefits. They think they are good people. They are not.

Here in Middle TN, our two sons have off today from their private high school that has an endowment of $120 MM dollars -- probably the same as the big three or perhaps wealthier.

We'll attend Easter services at our THRIVING parish. Any enjoy our beautiful home that probably costs a third of what it would cost in the DMV, with no state income taxes and property tax of less than $5k.

We also enjoy our neighbors who are the nicest neighbors I've ever had.

It's not all perfect! Some days I miss the ethnic restaurants of the DMV and DMV's museums.

But you folks who imagine this is some rough redneck country fully of toothless hillbillies, well, perhaps the ignorance is your won.

You might want to do the math on that. There's 100+ million gun owners. If 3% resist, that's 3 million people most of whom likely have recent military experience with door to door fighting or are a criminal element with nothing to lose. There are 660k cops or so. The military, other than the national guard, can't intervene and the national guard stands around 440k.

We would quickly descend into civil war if that sort of thing happened. The first gunshots of the Revolutionary war were from the British trying to sieze colonial arms and people in the whole "gun culture" cling to that sort of thing.

We know that educated white christians can have a good life in TN but it’s at the expense of minorities, women and poor uneducated people. I get that here in the tiny echo chamber of DCUM, these three show boaters are now martyrs and heroes to the left. But out in the real world, most people are quite happy to see disrupters being dealt with. May it be a trend that continues.

This country was founded by disrupters. Someone had to do something to draw attention to legislatures that are putting guns above the lives of children. Let’s not forget their “show boating” was to bring attention to the fact the GOP controlled government is doing nothing to control access to guns.
