+1 Well said. |
All states have bad drivers, but according to insurance stats, VA has worse drivers than MD. |
VA drivers will cut you off, DC drivers will flip you off, but MD drivers will crash into your house. |
| Marylanders vote for far left politicians who ruin their counties bringing crime and job loss and then they move and bring their leftist politics to other states. |
Cops do pull you over, idiot. |
I thought NoVa always voted blue, and NoVa folks hated Youngkin. |
Agreed. A whole lot of Americans seem to think the speed limit is the most important rule on the road and everything else is irrelevant to safe driving (I blame the 55 mph national limit back in the '70s). Particularly on the highway, the flow of traffic is more important for safety than the absolute speed (within reason, of course). Someone blocking the passing lane doing exactly the speed limit is more of a danger to the other road users than that same person moving over and letting traffic move smoothly at 10-15 over the limit. This mentality is one reason US highway traffic deaths per mile driven are among the highest in the developed world. |
Insurance? Ain't nobody got time fo' that! |
NoVa is blue but not leftist. Marc Elrich would never get elected in Virginia |
+1 In VA, you can pay NOT to have insurance - which explains a lot of the drivers. Not sure about MD. |
NAH, it's the old people who should have had their license revoked decades ago who crash into.....well, everything. |
If one is from a state with "bad" drivers, and they tell you VA and MD drivers suck - I believe them. |
I live in MD and I agree with this. They don’t use turn signals and tailgate (regardless of what lane you’re in). |

what? I thought all states required insurance to drive. So, I guess if you live in VA you really need good insurance. Is this part of the "don't tread on me" culture? |
