| Rosedale sent out an email survey in November 2022 saying that they're reconsidering their dog waitlist policy. Has anyone heard any updates? |
| The same scenario as to how Rosedale Conservatory came to be happened in the area I currently live in this past fall. The group came across as very NIMBY. |
What? |
DP. Rosedale was *not* a “weedy dust bowl then.” Rosedale has always been an “incredible asset” for the neighborhood. The arrogant Rosedale defenders here are not doing anything to counteract the negative impression of those running the Conservancy. To the contrary. |
This is hilarious. Why are you so mad? “Negative impression” from who? A few entitled dog owners? |
A farm was bought by a “neighborhood group” who wanted to block housing development and turn the farm into a nature preserve. |
So? |
They just posted an update. Main change is that only residents within a defined geographical area can join the waitlist. https://www.rosedaleconservancy.org/dog-registration/ |
I’m sure the people who claim to live in apartments on Connecticut Ave will find something else to complain about. |
I posted that before I saw the map. They actually decided specifically to exclude all of the large apartment buildings on Connecticut but instead include buildings in Cleveland Park on Wisconsin that are already close to the public dog park. LOL. |
Yeah it was clearly drawn to exclude Sedgwick Gardens. And then they extended it across part of Connecticut only to include the Park & Shop and restaurants, but not the residential buildings. |
| Did anyone make it off the list? We only got the notification that we would be removed because we don't live within in the new boundaries. |
