You are crazy. I'm from EE and the quality of life is so much higher there. From paid maternity leave, social support, free healthcare to better food, paid sick leave and paid time off. This is absolutely inaccurate and I'm EE. First, boomer American men have incredibly high alcohol abuse rates and also drug usage rates, only Zers and Millennials don't drink. Nobody wants an old man and nobody puts a men in a pedestal in all Europe, including EE. Also, the vast majority of the younger men are very involved in childcare and house care, as a direct result of their mothers being WM - former Comunist countries had mandatory employment for women. I found American men much more helpless about housework and more traditional about a woman's role in the household. America is incredibly conservative, especially socially.

There are plenty of decent looking poor women in the US, but they are mostly uneducated and come with family baggage that is not far away. If you are a rich old guy with a raging alcohol problem, you probably want someone you perceive will be more educated but less likely to leave or demand support for their family.

What would they have in common? They wouldn't appreciate the money or the intellect or the hard work. No, I can't understand it. I can't relate to having a hot husband for sex who takes care of my house after a day of work and not much else. Guess it's guy thing. Women connect emotionally. Most of us just don't get it.

My exH was screaming at me “you are nobody, a mail order Russian bride!” when I caught him cheating. His Serbian mistress didn’t even have a US diploma: he paid for her rental apartment, her kids education, etc. I was buying cheap strollers on craigslist for our new born son and cleaned his house myself during 2008 financial crisis when he lost money on stocks.
I guess it’s all about sex for these types. In reality, they don’t love anyone - just float from one woman to another, depending on their needs at that specific period of time
