You are crazy. I'm from EE and the quality of life is so much higher there. From paid maternity leave, social support, free healthcare to better food, paid sick leave and paid time off. "Be a good SAHM"?! What's this c*ap? Do you think we want to live in a 1970s townhouse in Chantilly and cut coupons for Giant? That's not my idea of "set for life". |
This is absolutely inaccurate and I'm EE. First, boomer American men have incredibly high alcohol abuse rates and also drug usage rates, only Zers and Millennials don't drink. Nobody wants an old man and nobody puts a men in a pedestal in all Europe, including EE. Also, the vast majority of the younger men are very involved in childcare and house care, as a direct result of their mothers being WM - former Comunist countries had mandatory employment for women. I found American men much more helpless about housework and more traditional about a woman's role in the household. America is incredibly conservative, especially socially. |
| There are plenty of decent looking poor women in the US, but they are mostly uneducated and come with family baggage that is not far away. If you are a rich old guy with a raging alcohol problem, you probably want someone you perceive will be more educated but less likely to leave or demand support for their family. |
You think you read that? What a load of crap! If anything, this country should worry about abortions and job equality way more that Russia does. Signed, -A Russian female with a PhD. |
I hear you. But they don't know any better, they never left their townhouses in Chantilly. |
| Calling Eastern European women “mail order brides” is just WRONG. I hope you only do it anonymously. |
Men are so stupid for wanting a hot young thing from a poor place who can’t fathom luxury from never having seen it, and who isn’t a complete anxiety prone, controlling social justice warrior who berates them like their previous wives did. It must suck. |
Why do you call them mail order brides? Just because they are from Eastern Europe? Lol |
"Wealthy men" are not bringing women from EE to live in a townhouse in Chantilly. Are there even any EE women who "townhouse in Chantilly" guy can afford? (Asking for a friend...) |
| So American women would rather claim that men have 'mental illness' and that women in Russia and Eastern are 'submissive, unintelligent, un-opinionated servant-prostitutes', who by default met their partner as 'mail order brides', than admit that just maybe some men would rather marry a hot-looking woman who dresses well and doesn't act like an entitled b..., sorry, I meant 'perfectionist and Type A', whose idea of perfect relaxation is going to Trader Joe's in their pajamas. |
It was in the Moscow times. https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2019/03/07/whos-to-blame-for-gender-stereotypes-in-russia-a64744 |
What would they have in common? They wouldn't appreciate the money or the intellect or the hard work. No, I can't understand it. I can't relate to having a hot husband for sex who takes care of my house after a day of work and not much else. Guess it's guy thing. Women connect emotionally. Most of us just don't get it. |
Yeah, DCUM is filled with women emotionally connected to their husbands
|
You don't associate inquiry with feeling and caring? Anyway, women just don't think this way which is why they don't get or aspire to having submissive husbands usually. |
My exH was screaming at me “you are nobody, a mail order Russian bride!” when I caught him cheating. His Serbian mistress didn’t even have a US diploma: he paid for her rental apartment, her kids education, etc. I was buying cheap strollers on craigslist for our new born son and cleaned his house myself during 2008 financial crisis when he lost money on stocks. I guess it’s all about sex for these types. In reality, they don’t love anyone - just float from one woman to another, depending on their needs at that specific period of time |
