This is my laundry show (I only watch while I'm doing something else). I get Kevin's love interests confused. So who he did he call and what's her deal? And why did she look so -- disinterested? I'm not sure of the word but she seemed done with Kevin.

Maybe because Tess and Annie aren't necessary to showcase Randall's need to "save" or "fix" people. Deja is in the show so that Randall can show off his savior complex.

But then why even have them at all? Just for the first season? I feel like they were only integral (somewhat) to the first season then they were completely forgotten about once Deja came around. I am hurt for them

Based on next week’s preview it looks like a whole episode dedicated to Jack’s mom’s death. Do we even need this now? Would prefer an episode on the present.

Agree. Although the full season is 18 episodes, so maybe this is Jack's last big appearance? Although I generally like the "past" episodes when it's the way past. I feel like we've seen a lot of Rebecca and Jack's marriage and the kids' childhood. I am good on all that.

Very beginning of the episode where she goes to Boston, Randall says something about going to study with a friend, maybe named Carol, for the whole weekend. He mentions the girls name but I forgot it. So she lied to him. But I am curious why he didn’t confirm with friends parents she was going there.

I don't think he gets together with her romantically, but the show is keeping all the irons in the fire.

I wonder if we see Zoe before the end. I also wonder if Zoe might not revise her stance on not wanting kids if the kids in question are her stepkids. I always felt like Kevin was more into her than she was into him. And it would be an interesting twist.

Cassidy has been shown interacting with Nicky and/or Kevin a few times, and I believe at least twice was shown alone in bed. Suggesting she's single again. I don't think she's the end game though, just a friend.
