Looting, looks to be small scale, in Tenelytown and Friendship Heights.

They set St. John’s Church on Fire, and they had to eject the protestors so the Fire Department could save the 200 year old church, but, yeah, it was to “placate Trump.” Sure.

Interesting how you folks up in NW were all fine with these “protests” as long as you thought the destruction was limited to downtown businesses.

You’d better go read your home insurance policy, because it probably doesn’t cover “civil unrest.”

I'm fine tucked away back here in Glover Park. No worries.

You’re asking for trouble now. Way to call yourself out.

Could you GET more paranoid? Yeesh. They're coming to get me!!!

Gimme a break.

Criminal degenerate imbeciles..... absolutely no surprise.

Destruction is the only way the disenfranchised can seize power. It doesn't make it right, but it's true.

Does not seem to be a lot of people. More like criminals hitting places where the police are not. A few high end stores. I wonder if they stealing the winter line because these stores have been shut down for a while.

It would seem to have the opposite effect because it will sour much of the public to their cause.

I’m terrified for my family. We have no way of defending ourselves. I don’t care if they take my things, but what if they burn my house and kill my kids in the fire. I don’t understand why the police aren’t getting things under control. This has permanently changed my politics.

You quoted me. I know. There will be severe backlash and the "law and order" crowd will strike back even more brutally. All from what looks to be a few bad apples.

This is not gonna happen.

Where do you even live in DC? If you're that scared, why haven't you moved out of the city far before this and fled to Reston like a good little girl?

Back in the 90s when I lived in Mt Pleasant, a black man that I'd better "move my white ass to Georgetown." And I did.

No one is breaking in to people’s houses or burning homes down. Do you even live in DC or are you just trolling?
