| I'm going to try the apple with caramel sauce thing! |
| Cook down some sliced and peeled apples in a bit of water, add cinnamon and a dash of cream. Or banana “nice” cream with some peanut butter and some dark chocolate shavings. |
NP I’ve seen responses like that often in threads like this (though maybe it’s one poster with such willpower). Like who can seriously eat just one piece of chocolate?? |
| Dried dates, or any dried fruit like apricots it mango or pineapple. Sweet and chewy and very filling. |
How does diet soda fill your sweet craving? It doesn’t even have sugar? |
| Trader Joe's has these date and peanut bars that only contain those two ingredients. They completely satisfy my dessert craving, and sometimes I only want half as they are very sweet. |

I like frozen cheeries
Intermittent fasting has helped my cravings in general - I used to really struggle with carb cravings, which was exhausting. I'm reading the Beck Diet Solution, she talks a lot about the mental part of cravings. Good luck! |
If you mix little a bit of plain yogurt with frozen cherries it’s almost like cherry ice cream! Thanks for the book recommendation, PP. |
| I eat them. |
| I have super sensitive teeth and can't eat anything sweet. Or cold. Or hot. I am so jealous of all of you! |
| If I am trying to lose weight, lots of fruit. Or a smoothie with frozen berries, stevia, and ripple milk with vanilla and cinnamon. Yum! |
| In the past it was whatever I craved. Ice cream, cake, chocolate. Since being diagnosed with dairy allergy and told to avoid wheat by my gastro, it is sour patch kids, dates, lemon and orange slices, gluten free bagel with jam on, oatmeal with fruit, other fruit. But, mostly sour patch kids. |
| Chocolate-covered strawberries |
| And Lara bars! Love those things. |
| I like YumEarth Pops from Whole Foods. 20 calorie lollipops. One or two usually do the trick. You can also get the ones that are fortified with Vitamin C and have a small added health benefit. Frozen grapes are also really good. Most of the "healthy" kids' popsicles at Whole Foods are also pretty low calorie and scratch that craving. |
