I crave candy a lot - skittles, starbursts, Twizzlers, etc.
What do you eat when you are craving super sweet food like this? |
| Drink diet soda. I know it’s horrible for you, whatever, but my goal is weight loss. I keep diet orange, diet sprite, diet root beer, and I have one when I really REALLY want a sweet treat. I make sure I drink a water first. |

Eat some. As long as I eat my vegetables and exercise regularly, I don't believe it's wrong to eat sweets from time to time.
If my craving is off the charts, I'll have some... then supplement with a lot of fruit. |

Similar to OP, I used to crave sugary candies....Starbursts, candy corn, anything like that was absolutely irresistible to me.
It has taken a while, but I have greatly reduced my candy cravings by eating frozen grapes, frozen cherries, etc. I know still high in natural sugars (but at least it’s not high fructose corn syrup). When I get desperate for something super sweet, I eat A sliced Honey Crisp apple dipped into small amount of caramel topping. This seems to do the trick for me. Best of luck! |

Good timing- I have gummy vitamins that are fairly big and you can take 3 per day. I was craving something sweet but after I had those the craving went away.
If I am making no effort to avoid calories I scour the kitchen for something sweet and don’t discriminate if I find something good. Cookies, ice cream, a Hershey bar set aside for s’mores, leftover Easter candy- whatever’s there. No shame. |

I eat a few starbursts when I get that awful craving. Then i normally feel sick afterward. I won't get that craving again for another week or 2 so it is only an occasional cheat.
I have been craving potato chips for weeks. I finally caved and ate some -- nearly a whole 8 oz. bag. .But I know from experience I wont have that craving again for a month. I'll probably end up throwing away the bag i started because it will be stale before i want them again. |
