Maybe, some people look at Maret as a safety school so they don't really WANT to go if they get it but it may be the only option.

A "safety" school? LOL. Okay.

Plenty of families on here saying they applied but it is not their top choice. That would imply that it is a safety school. And if they really WL everyone they don't admit then they understand that they are a safety school

You understand that this is a tiny sample of people who apply to these schools? Just bc whoever posts on here say it’s not their first choice means nothing.

It doesn't move as much as GDS and a couple others, but yes it does move.

Good luck!

My daughter is on the WL at Maret for a non-expansion year. Considering everything going on with coronavirus, does anyone see the possibility of there being movement and/or have positive experiences? She has very good grades and is higher up on the WL.

This is probably the best year for WL movement as families' financial landscapes change and parents weigh the pros and cons of possibly paying the same tuition for the online version of their independent school.

You can always call, and at this point they are likely to be fairly honest about the likelihood of your child being admitted.
