Not that kind of wealth. She's looking for a gazillionaire. |
I wouldn't an income of 400k+ be able to do that pretty easily? After a number of years of saving. |
That's still more than 25% of someone's annual income. No, that's just ridiculous even at that income level. |
Sure, why not? How are people this clueless and disconnected with finances? |
We're not wealthy. We're middle class. But we do buy $150K engagement rings. YOLO. |
+1 |
She's going to make some man happy. Lap happy. 4 life. Oh yeah. |
This has to be a joke.
Let me guess, she hasn't had many relationships either because of this standard? |
She'll stay single.
|
Where IS that again? Signed, CH is hipper |
All of her relationships have been short. Less than 6 months. |
Someone smart enough to earn that kind of money is smart enough to not blow $150k on a ring. She needs someone who lucked into a ton of money, like a trust fund baby or someone who sold a business to Google. She'd do better in NY, LA or Silicon Valley. But she's getting old - she better hurry up. |
Trolling |
If OP is serious- no. That is celebutant-level money for a ring. Rings are terrible investments, expensive to insure and easily lost or stolen. Only a fool would spend that much on a ring, regardless of how much they earn. A fool, or someone who's desperately insecure. |
If the price of the engagement ring is that big of a deal, I share hope I don't know her. That is close to my annual income. I paid a little more than that for my house (a while ago).
No. I am in NoVA. I would not spend more than 15K on a piece of jewelry. |
