He's the guy who really helps to clean up after a party at your aunt's house. He's the guy who packs a lunch for you or surprises you after your class ends to give you an umbrella since it's raining. He's the guy who doesn't play tit for tat. He's the guy who feels comfortable in his own skin and couldn't care less about impressing others or keeping up with the Joneses. He's the guy that literally everybody loves because they have a dozen stories about him going out if his way to be helpful or just plain kind.

Of course, he might be shorter than the guys you typically date. Or he might not have a big six salary because he opted for a career in public service that doesn't pay as much as the guys you typically date. But you can easily sort the good guys from the asshats.

Um I know guys who did everything you described and still do shit to get up with the babies.

But it's clear you are short and make about 30 to 40 k and took offense to the women who want a guy who is tall and has a a well paying job.

Um, once again, you are wrong.

I'm a 40 something happily married woman with an amazing husband who did the middle of the night feedings so I could get some sleep and be fresh for the baby during the day. DH is 5'9" and makes just shy of $100k (so do I BTW). And literally everybody loves him...because he's a truly nice guy who is kind to everyone he meets.

It's really not hard to distinguish the good guys from the asshats. But there are lots of lazy and shallow women who ignore the red flags as they chase the golden ring...then they bitch about their asshat husbands who don't lift a finger around the house and don't help out with the kids. What they expect? If you aggressively pursue a 1950s style marriage with an alpha male, then don't be surprised when he expects you to handle the kids.
