| Those poor kids. I can't even imagine. |
I feel terrible but admit I got nosy and looked her up, we have friends in common! Aurora Heights is a pretty nice neighborhood. Heartbreaking. I hope the husband didn't do it, because then the kids would lose both parents. |
| I am on the aurora heights list serve still (used to live there) and they sent something out this morning asking the person who first called the police about the kids to please call back bc they have some more questions for you. Just in case anyone sees this! |
| Ugh, that is terrible. Those poor kids. |

I'm a single mom and this is my worst nightmare. Those poor kids.
The divorce hearing was scheduled to be next week, and a three day trial means it was contentious. The timing is noteworthy. |
The mother's name has just been published in the Post. http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/crime/arlington-police-deem-death-suspicious/2015/04/17/2129f202-e504-11e4-b510-962fcfabc310_story.html?hpid=z2 |
| Why are the children with CPS and not their father? To me that suggests something. |
Absolutely. Police suspect foul play. If this had been a clear cut case of an accidental death, i.e., 3 neighbors saw her fall off a ladder as she was fixing her roof, there would be no reason not to turn the children over to their father. |
| Utterly heartbreaking to read of her murder and to think that the perpetrator didn't care enough about those precious toddlers to make sure they were safe. |
Yes, most murders are selfish like that. |
|
So DCUM , as usual, is judge, jury, and executioner. Maybe he's guilty and maybe not. The spouse is ALWAYS the no. 1 suspect
Why can't you wait to condemn this man until all the evidence is in. |
You are certainly correct that it would be premature to condemn him until all the evidence is available. It's not rumor, however, that there's a history of calls related to domestic violence in that home. |
| kids probably told the police he did it |
|
I'm just glad the killer didn't harm the kids as well.
My brother's best friend was killed by his father in 1985. It was awful. He had just spent the night there two weeks earlier. After that, we weren't allowed to do sleepovers until high school. Here's a link to the article. http://articles.latimes.com/1985-04-14/news/mn-8149_1_murder-suicide |
People are noting suspicious circumstances, not screaming about his guilt. Pull yourself together. |
