Maybe a couple of times a month.
We usually go out for gelato after grabbing something out to eat when the weather is not too hot but still pleasantly a little hot, so we can sit outside and enjoy it on benches while it slowly melts. Ahhh, summer! |
Two times the past month near our home. When travel, we always go to the local ice cream place daily.
5 times a week seems like a lot. But 3 times throughout the whole summer gives me sadface. |
Maybe 3 or 4 times a year?
Wow there are some serious ice cream eaters here!! I'd say 1-3x a year, max, and only in the summer.
At least twice a month, but reading this thread has made me decide to step it up. Once a week sounds about right to me.
Last summer, at least once or twice a week. This summer, for some reason, we haven't gone as much. We need to!
I'm slightly addicted to Dolcezza gelato, but I reckon once or twice a week max.
I'd love to go more (Lava Yogurt - yum) but DS has a 7:30/8 pm bedtime so we can't usually fit it in. However, we make a lot of ice cream in the summer so we often have homemade in the freezer.
Almost daily. I would say 7 out of 10 days on average. When we traveled to Italy a couple of years ago, we would have gelato everyday 2 or 3 times per day. So, our almost daily trip here is not that bad….lol
A few times a week between ice cream and frozen yogurt.
Rarely. We're not near an ice cream place and I'm not really a huge fan.
Pretty much never. Dd is allergic to nuts, and I haven't figured out a safe place. I think McDonald's soft serve is safe, but she won't eat it. Darn her pickyness. She does enjoy Frosties quite often though.

Wow -- I literally can't believe that people go out for ice cream or frozen yogurt 3-5 times per week. It's so expensive and not very healthy.
We probably go out about once every 2-4 weeks. Otherwise, we buy ice cream at the grocery store or make our own (you can make some "healthy" ice cream by freezing a banana and then blending it with frozen berries; if you put it in an ice cream cone, it almost seems like ice cream but has no milk or sugar!). |
We go to Rita's a max of 1-2x's per month. DC is allergic to dairy, so we don't go to ice cream places at all. I LOVE Italian ice, but limit myself to the kiddie when we go.
