Buy 1 pack 60ct paper bags.

Wear one on head each day. In 58 days buy more.

Repeat until the sweet release of death.

I've been plucking mine for years. Never any issues with that. I've got one dark one on my chin, two gray ones (!) on my right side close to the jawbone. That's it.

It is not necessarily related to menopause or getting older. I have had them, pretty much in droves, ever since age 15 or 16. The hairs everywhere else on my body are blonde except for this one spot. Fun times.

Mine kept getting worse and worse (I am 32) especially after my 2nd pregnancy. I was plucking like 25% of my chin hairs - it was awful. So I got lasered and it has helped immensely. I found that if the laser targeted the hair at the right time point (during the growth phase), it was gone (for how long, I don't know, but it's been 6 months and no regrowth yet). So if you wanted to laser a few hairs, you might only need a couple treatments if you catch them at the right time.

Lately I've noticed some dark black/brown hairs starting to grow under my chin on my neck. I constantly pluck them out. I'm a 37 YO white female...and they only just started to show! WTF? Why are they coming? Is my only permanent solution electrolysis/laser hair removal? UGH!!

Any thoughts or comisserations appreciated.

Thanks.

Lol. Because this is relevant.

maybe she thought it only happened to us sicilians?

I am NOT an electrolysis practitioner, but someone who has had the exact same post-partum hair growth issue and plucked and did laser and now have done electrolysis and they are gone. If you pluck or wax, on the chin, you are going to stimulate growth--it is a hormonal thing. I can tell you I started with one or two, and then, well, ugh.

Get electrolysis. It is a time committment, but having done laser, which IS NOT permanent, electro is the way to go. But please don't pluck. Huge mistake.

right. and shaving makes the hair come back darker.

it does not, but PLEASE by all means possible, do NOT shave it. You are fooling no one. I can't STAND when I see a woman do this. I can still see it. Everyone can still see it. Pluck, wax, electro, laser...anything but shave.

I also have the same problem. But I got it when i was 18. Now I'm 21 and doctors are advising me not to do a laser treatment for it. Doing electro will I get any side effects? Pls let me know!

My friend is very hairy - as in "beard" hairy. She has been doing electrolysis for years, and it has killed off the beard with no side effects. She looks great. But it took years, and it's expensive. Now she's doing her bikini area!

As someone with "barely there" brows, I'm envious! You could have them shaped, and I bet they'd be gorgeous. I've always envied Brooke Shields!
