Is it OK to ask friend if my daughter can come to their sibling’s wedding?

I wouldn’t even bother going to the wedding. I would use that time to take your daughter to see a therapist.

No, my husband will be away. She could be.

If you Rsvped for two, then that's fine.

WtF no!!

How do you not know this? It’s NEVER appropriate to ask if you can bring someone else to a formal event! Your daughter can face her fears and stay home alone.

Is it child free?

Next weekend 3/21-22?

OP, you absolutely do not ask

How on earth is your daughter going to cope with life? You have a much, much bigger problem to work on.

What if there’s a limit on how many people can attend and your DD doesn’t have anywhere to sit?

Sounds like OP is the friend’s +1.

Is this an Indian wedding and on y'all's bucket list?

Lots to unpack here...it's totally inappropriate

No, you don’t ask. Have your daughter invite a friend over.

No, sorry, OP. You can’t ask that.

She did, I also remember it. What's wrong with people not only making up these crazy scenarios, but also reposting them later?

I’m a completely different OP. My kid is 15.
