DD is in state. 3.78 uw / 4.27 w. 1460 SAT. 11 APs/DE. NMSF. Interested in engineering. Good, but standard EC’s. Varsity athlete, part time job, 180+ volunteer hours, etc. Definitely worried it will not be enough

3.9 uwgpa, TO, good ECs, history major, in state Asian girl.

We are cautiously optimistic.

You are getting in with that 4.5 gpa for sure - Good luck!

I heard you need a 4.4 weighted -true? I was suspicious, but our Naviance bears this out.

At our school some get in with lower but 4.4 seems to be the line above which most get in, provided SAT is also over 1500.

My DD’s Naviance shows that kids have been admitted with a 4.2/4.3 and mid 1400s SAT score. This is for in-state. Not a lot of kids, but enough to give us a small ray of Hope. Agree, seems that most kids getting in have around 4.5.

NP. That’s for ED not for EA right?

How many days does it take after submitting application to receive instruction email to access the portal?

Our Navience data doesn't distinguish between ED and EA.

+2 Our school (DMV private) shows a 4.4 is needed if applying EA. My DC has a 4.25 now in fall of 12th, but should be at a 4.4+ when they graduate, which is what the scattergrams show. Fingers crossed!!

Good luck to her. That will be a hard one.

DD applied EA for engineering. 4.0UW and 1520 SAT. I have no idea if she'll get in given how competitive engineering is.
