William and Mary, hands down. Not even close.

First question is money. Do you have a ton? If so it changes the answer. If 90k a year is nothing to you either because it is saved already or you are rich or high income then BC is the answer hands down. On the other hand if the above is not accurate go instate to W&M. CWU would lose in either case unless your kid loved it and you can afford it.

Whoever said BC is a B+ school is nuts. Have you looked at stats?

only 28% bother to submit an SAT, my brother. They take 2/3rds of their class from early decision. They're not getting the best and brightest

The insane BC hater returns to overtake a thread to fill it with lies. Pp is a know and persistent nemesis to this forum.

Aww, this brother has trouble with fractions. For BC, 3/4 submitted test scores snd averaged over 1500.

My kid’s options included W&M OOS and BC. W&M won out hands-down, regardless of cost. Chef’s kiss on their new campus improvements. Amazing faculty.

With in-state tuition, W&M is a screaming deal.

CWRU is a great place, but seems quite different than the other two. Be sure to visit.

You mean 28% a little over 1/4?

That's a misleading statement. When quoting statistics like this, you should include all information, like those who submitted ACT as well. If you combine both tests, 44% submitted test scores. Still low in my opinion, but you are clearly on a mission to bash BC. Weird.

Do you have access to the 2025 CDS? I could not find it online. The 2024 shows that 44% submitted test scores. Here's the link and screenshot. https://www.bc.edu/content/dam/bc1/offices/irp/ir/cds/CDS_2023-2024-Final.pdf

My VA kid had a choice between W&M and Case with $31,000 merit. Went with W&M but Case was weak in her major. Case is strong in CS so I’d be sure to give it a good look. Loved the campus. Of course , W&M is gorgeous and largely new and renovated. Can’t go wrong there!

For CS case is a much better option than W&M.

+1
& with majority guvvie jobs disappearing and healthcare data engineering plentiful I’d be heading to Case

BC is where I draw the line for full pay. Not worth it, and extremely limited merit.

CS has merit. W&M in-state. Apply to both. I think CS might end up being about same price and has better program, but I could be wrong - not sure about W&M's new program yet. But if a kid really likes W&Ms vibe, sure.
