| Nicole Kidman did a great job. The Samuel character was too immature and manipulative to be a good dom. The movie wasn’t as spicy as I expected, and the kink much milder than I prefer. I liked the plot and the music. Overall it was entertaining, interesting, a little “wtf.” |

She looks like a 57 year old with lots of money and cosmetic surgery. The fact that some think she looks young, rather than plastic, explains how plastic surgeons make so much money. |

| Am I the only one that really does not like NK as an actress? I can’t think of anything that I have ever thought she seemed natural in. That includes The Hours, Eyes Wide Shut and big little lies. She always seems llle she’s so deliberately ACTING. But she does sreem I’ll a nice person so I want it like her. |

Yes, her acting style is very stylized. I liked her in The Others, but not much else. I never feel anything for her characters. I prefer her good friend Naomi Watts, a far more natural actress (in every way). |

| This film was incredibly disappointing. The only good thing was Kidman’s wardrobe. The whole relationship between her character and Samuel was boring and hardly erotic. And for all the work Kidman has had done, why didn’t she do her earlobes ? |

| I thought it was stylish, artsy trash. Good acting and visually interesting but otherwise kind of meh. Some of it was kind of funny and bordered on camp. I laughed at the part where Samuel was dancing shirtless to George Michael’s “Father Figure.” Also based on the Christmas trees and the mention at the end of it being a new year it seemed to take place entirely in late November through early January. I found it hard to believe that all of those things happened in that short of a time period. |

Not a fan of this movie. I think it was trying too hard to do too much.
I tried to explain it to someone as an amalgam of wannabe soft-porn, blathering commentary about women and power, fetish exploration, and occasional drips of thriller - all while inanely to highlight the importance of family and true love. Plus, it flat-out ripped off scenes and plot lines from "9 1/2 weeks." I'd much rather go back and look at a young, handsome Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger than this schlock. |

| Youthful appearance my ass, I live in Nashville and see her around Lieper's Fork with her husband, she looks "jacked" up in a bad way. JFC her face does not move and it's so shiny, kinda Halloween scary in person. Actually kind of sick of people going on and on about her youthful look, she looks like a sixty year old with bad plastic surgery. At least she didn't totally jack her face up with injectibles but the botox is a bit overwhelming in person. Just do the face lift. |
