Who the hell is these insane movies?

Also, I only know because I read one post above this that it’s about her being controlled by a man. Like give me a **** break.

For the people who like to watch this crap, can you explain to me what happened to you in your childhood?

I think it would've been okay if it was a thriller. Instead it gave us nothing. I will be disappointed if she wins for it. Kate was wonderful in Lee as was Torres in I'm still here.

Female Actor, Motion Picture, Drama
Pamela Anderson, The Last Showgirl AGE 59
Angelina Jolie, Maria AGE 49
PREDICTED WINNER: Nicole Kidman, Babygirl AGE 57
Tilda Swinton, The Room Next Door AGE 64
Fernanda Torres, I’m Still Here AGE 59
Kate Winslet, Lee AGE 49

I'd like to know what, if any, work Tilda has done. She is freaking ageless.

That’s because she’s clearly a vampire.

I don’t know Tom Cruise kissing Kristen Dunst in interview with a vampire didn’t make it any better just because they were vampires. It was disgusting.

Nicole just previously won a few years ago for Ricardos. I don't think babygirl is good enough for a another win that fast. I think this is going to Kate. I am not sure why they didn't VF didn't mention her more..

When there's no frontrunner predictions are fun random guesses. Last year Vanity thought Bradley Cooper would win for Maestro. Cillian did.

A good deep-place facelift. You want to go straight to that. NO FILLERS. Minimal or no Botox.

Good catch. Hollywood has come a long way in that regard.

Look what happens when women are permitted to continue acting after their physical primes - excellent work.

I agree but also wonder how much of this is recognizing these women's body of work rather than awarding, say JLaw with best actress at age 23.

I agree that it's disgusting. The disgust I get is because of her making out with a guy who looks like her son. I am 50, and when I see 27 year old guys, I think "that could be my kid," not "yeah I want to hit that." It's not even a "fantasy" to get with a guy that young. It's just gross.

Keira Knightly was 17 in Love Actually.

Is nice to see women with long careers getting recognition.

Used to hear Jason Kelce’s review of love actually it’s completely on target. It’s such a creepy movie.

Paperboy? maybe because she played more of an eccentric in Paperboy and not so buttoned-up as in babygirl?

The movie they did last year called family affair. It's a stupid movie but they surprisingly had great chemistry
