You can start complaining as Iranian backed Houthi's attack ships and Iranian proxies attack others.

Don't just complain now. If you like your pacifism, you can keep it.

WTF?? It's not pacifism. It's not wanting to see this spiral into something worse. Israel completely destroyed the consulate! You can't just go around flattening embassies.

+1. The poster above does not seem to understand, this is not about pacifism or love for the Ayatollahs. Israel bombed Iran’s consulate in Damascus flattening it. It seeks Netanyahu is itching for war with Iran and for war with Hezbollah. The thing is that Israel can hardly fight those wars alone, even now it depends on military aid from the US (in the news today the US is about to close on a package of military aid- a big bunch of F-35 - for $18Billions) and an outright war with Iran and/or hezbollah would drag the US into the war. This is why the Biden administration has been trying to keep things under control with respect to Lebanon in the past fee months. But Netahyanu knows he is done when is out of power, and other members of his government are crazy messianic warmongers who think not just Israel but Gaza, the WB and parte of Syria and Lebanon belong to the Jews and that they are the sword of God. So yes these people are dangerous and there is a lot of reasons to be concerned.

I seem to remember Iran taking 53 of our diplomats and staff from the U.S. Embassy in Tehran hostage for 444 days.

Not sure what your point is that you think you're making. An Iraqi militia sent a drone into Israel. The Israeli army destroyed an Iranian consulate. These things are not the same. At all. One is a proxy. One is a state act.

If you're not sure what my point is, you shouldn't be here. Your pacifism is ridiculous.

Joe Biden has been in office for three plus years and there's unrest everywhere. Just stellar. /sarcasm

Okay, then, I'll say it more clearly. You were wrong.

Proportional response is never the answer, nor a solution. Hence dozens of attacks on US assets/personnel by proxies in the region.

So? Disproportionate response is also not the solution, which is why we tolerate the proxy attacks.

Iran must be angry over this.

I wouldn’t blame Iran if they decided to recall their ambassador to Israel. . .

He is a neocon, probably he thinks it is a good idea to widen the crisis.

He’s obsessed over US going to war with Iran since the Obama years. I wouldn’t be surprised if our cruiser ships is destroyed in the Red Sea in a false flag blamed on Iran.

They guy they took out in Damascus is basically the commanding general responsible for the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon that's been bombing northern Israel.
