He is attempting to pivot now with story after story of illegal migrants harming citizens after previous arrests. But, it is too little too late.

I may have misread your double negatives but I think I understood your point. I don't agree with it - there are a lot of pontificating posts on this forum, by righties, by lefties, most of whom are loons. All of them could be reasonable discussion threads, if people were willing to engage. This site used to have discussion threads on the political forum, until most of the intelligent posters, both righties and lefties, gave up and left.
