Murdered nursing student Laken Riley suffered a disfigured skull after being beaten to death by an undocumented Venezuelan immigrant.
Jose Ibarra, 26, is accused of using a mystery object as a weapon to kill the 22-year-old Augusta University student. It's unclear if authorities have retrieved the object used as the murder weapon. Rest peacefully, Laken. I am sorry you were not protected by the people who are in charge of country. |

Any immigrants who break our laws...... after they break our laws by entering illegally...... should be detained indefinitely and then deported.
Theft, assault, DUI, possession of handgun, shoplifting, ......anything. Detain, charge, incarcerate if guilty, and deport. No bail. |

More GOP america. There's a bill that added tools and money to address the current immigration crisis, negotiated and approved by Senate republicans. Johnson refused to put it up for a vote in the House, where Dem would have voted for it. I repeat it: House GOP refused to bring a bipartisan bill approved by the Senate to vote. They did it after Trump decided his best chance is running on fear of the “hordes or illegal” swarming the country. So yes this is the MAGA mess. Pass the bill and let’s address the problem. Shame on the GOP to use that young woman’s name for a banner bill that they knew would not pass but would be good campaign material. But spending time on passing a law that could help keep other people like the murderer out of the country and avoid other Laken Riley in the future, that they could not care less |

I may have misread your double negatives but I think I understood your point. I don't agree with it - there are a lot of pontificating posts on this forum, by righties, by lefties, most of whom are loons. All of them could be reasonable discussion threads, if people were willing to engage. This site used to have discussion threads on the political forum, until most of the intelligent posters, both righties and lefties, gave up and left. |
