| Causing the store completely affects everyone in the neighborhood. That’s not a solution imo. If this helps then it’s a good thing. They need to have FT security there if they don’t already. |
| Closing, not causing. |
You mean like the four teens who were out after curfew and got killed? |
They didn’t apologize for getting robbed blind. No wonder crime is out of control in this city. |
Yes it does. And the good people of the neighborhood should be hopping mad that thieves among them are causing this to happen. Only the people living there can fix this. |
Increase the shelf prices on everything in the store to compensate for the cost of extra needed security. Make the neighborhood aware that's why their prices are higher. |
Giant should raise their prices across all their stores. Then more people could steal. Socialism works! |
Probably coming home from a late night at the all-night library. |
| There's a reason that area is a grocery store desert. They're nailing their own coffin. |
| Hopefully they start looting grocery stores in takoma park, Chevy chase, palisades, etc areas next and those residents are affected. |
There are now many products locked up now at the Tenleytown Target. |
| I don’t understand why they can’t just keep those products behind a counter. |
And those residents will just go shop in the burbs. It’s the people who cannot get out of their neighborhoods who suffer. Nice attitude, BTW. “More crime! Yay!” |
| What is security to do? End up being killed like the guard at the Giant in Oxon Hill. |
| If the city doesn’t want them to leave, they should post extra security there. The company won’t stay if they can’t make a profit, so the city needs to help with costs if they want the service. |
