Are you unable to google BMI trends? |
Didn't know it was googleable, but I guess I was right. Men - stay off the p*rn. Ladies - lose a few pounds. |
Pretty sure twentysomething men could stand to lose a few pounds too. |
Absolutely, but getting off the videos games and p*rn is the more proximate hurdle to being and finding a good partner |

Back when America was great, young people were in better shape and looked healthier plus fertility was much higher. The woke - psych drug culture has drained them of vitality. Or course there are exceptions but the overall group isn’t date-worthy using the standards of once great America. |
MAGA! |
Make America Gorgeous Again !! |
That would require regulating food companies, agriculture, pharma companies. Like they do in Europe. Are MAGAers sure they want to do that? |
| If they have their careers on track, they will usually find partners too. |
| Our society skews to value individual goals. Young adults want what makes them happy without considering that the other person is also seeking to make only him/herself happy. Kids don't want to have to compromise or work WITH someone at life. |
| They are told to ditch relationships, no matter how compatible because their prefrontal cortex isn't developed until 30-35. By then, egg and sperm count starts dwindling. |
https://www.niddk.nih.gov/health-information/health-statistics/overweight-obesity In age 20-39, 40.3% of men and 39.7% of woman are obese, which they consider no significant difference. Then if you look by race: Whites: 44.7% men / 39.8% women Blacks: 41.1% men / 56.9% women Asians: 17.5% men / 17.2% women Hispanic: 45.7% men / 43.7% women Interesting.. white men are more likely to be obese than white women, but the opposite (by quite a margin) for black men vs women. |
I don’t know. Most young adults I know have found great partners. |

I hate the BMI metric for my teen DD. She understands the formula and fitness and isn’t caught up in numbers, which is great. She is black, 5’10 160+ lbs and would be considered very close to “obese”. She plays volleyball and runs and is VERY fit. For reference she is size 6 in her lululemon leggings and shirts (but needs 8 in the hotty shorts because of modesty).
I am not as in shape, but I do work out regularly and have zero issue with weight and the way my size 10 clothes fit. I can’t think of anyone who would even call me the slightest bit fat but My numbers say that I’m actually “obese” by the calculations SMH |

Given the divorce rate, older generations apparently didn't find good partners either, did they?
Maybe the younger ones who have witnessed this simply aren't dumb enough to make the same mistakes. |
