In looking for a partner, I am more concerned about their “aesthetic” than their looks/education

Chick looking for a dude

Are you okay with dating MSM because I know the perfect guy and he needs a wife like yesterday!

Beard in Mclean - STAT!

You think I'm kidding.....

If you are looking for a man OP, you will probably find a gay or bi man who needs some bearding cover for his conservative family.

Are you like this as well? You pretty much described my husband except for the decorating part. Frankly it's kind of hard because I'm not naturally a neat freak like he is, and I watch my weight like a hawk because he's so skinny.

Just the opposite. I don’t care what their income or profession is, nor do I care where they live.

No you are shallow . Who told you that shallow was limited to income, profession or home address?

The items in your list are pretty empty and don't say much about their deeper values.

A pp nailed it when they said you were looking for a mannequin.

Sounds like a lot of gay men I know.

Mail-order, but get a pre-nup, b/c she will divorce your loser ass in about five years.

I hope you're joking, OP! There is nothing substantive at all in your list.

My priorities are someone who is:
-Modest
-Very organized and clean, both with their living space and their personal belongings. No mess whatsoever.
-Fashionable (in my opinion)
-Perfect teeth
-Frugal/excellent personal finance habits
-Thin
-Environmentally conscious
-Good at decorating

I am sure there’s more I am forgetting. But if they fit that criteria I could care less what their education level, profession, etc

Now why is this so hard to find?

Instead you can marry someone educated and well employed and have similar values as you do.

They’ll be able to hire help to clean, organize, decorate and recycle.

They can pay gym/dietician/aesthetician/orthodontist to attain and maintain prerequisite looks.

Shallow indeed but honest and knows what he wants.

The thing is, you’ve created a list of items that you value in a male partner. You. Not what society as a whole considers indicators of male success. So it’s cool you don’t care about their job but most people do— so does a smart guy focus on his job or his decorating hobby? If he decorates he might get you (not if his parents couldn’t afford braces, but if he was at least UMC) but if he gets a great job and is successful he’ll be attractive to a wider range of women. You are a dating pool of one…and what if he’d rather have better odds?

As long as they have perfect teeth, twisted mind and hardened hearts are not a deterrent.

Only a gay guy will fit this profile OP

I don't see anything wrong with this list. People like what they like. No need to bash. Smh.

Good for you knowing what you want. Don’t listen to these fools. They don’t pay your bills so they can go pound sand.
