I'm going to say no because I work hard on loving my body and accepting all bodies as beautiful. And I'm a size 2 so it's a bit wild that I have to do this at all.

Size 2 is the perfect size (not trolling)

Perfect size for who? Someone who’s 5’1?

Perfect size for all heights. Do you think the taller you are, the greater your size should be?

Are you being serious? Can you not understand that someone who is 5’0” and size 2 looks very different than someone who is 5’10” and size 2? One is much thinner.

I switched my kids over to a more conservative school recently where not every pick up and school event is a fashion show and a lot of this feeling went away. Now when I see those moms with perfect bodies, designer clothes and shoes, and $300 haircuts hanging out in the middle school gym, they look ridiculous. Like parodies of themselves.

I do have friends who are naturally thin, and it’s just their body type, not an aesthetic, and I don’t feel jealous. I think that jealousy kind of requires both people to be in on it.

Taller people can wear larger sizes -even up to 10! and appear to be thin. 5'7 size 6, but even at size 8, get told to eat a cheeseburger.

In whose eyes? Lol! Show me a celebrity that looks good tall and size 10. If you’re over size 6 you’re on the heavier side

If you believe that size 8 is heavy, you're out of your mind!

today's size 8 is really a size 18

I wear a size 8 and my waist is 27 inches. I do have curves, though. I guess that makes me fat.

I am 5-11 and a size 4-6 and people think I am very skinny. To be a size 2 at my height, you really need to be extremely thin.

I have been up to a size 10 when I was a lot younger and always still looked decent. It carries a lot different on a tall body. Those are just facts.

I would say for the average height, size 8 is considered heavy also

No I’m skinny enough. 5’7” 130 and I’m lazy. I don’t diet. My skinny mom friends really restrict what they eat, workout a ton or have an ED.

Vanity sizing is a fact, fat is subjective

fat
(of a person or animal) having a large amount of excess flesh.
"the driver was a fat, wheezing man"

no, not jealous of women who are thinner than me, because i am still lean myself -- and with a great face and great real boobs.

Very true. I have a friend who was a model, and at 6’ she was a size 8-10. I never understood it. She is a regular sized person 0 equivalent.

I agree! However if you’re 5-11 and over size 12, you would start to look overweight

Maybe the naturally skinny ones?

I feel kind of sorry for the ones who feel that they can never have a carb, sugar, fat, etc. or skip a 5:00 am class at the gym. I've been heavier (size 12 in 2020) and thinner (currently size 2/4). I'm obviously not naturally thin and I don't have to forego entire food groups or follow a strict regimen to maintain my current weight. I feel like a lot of skinny people needlessly torture themselves rather than enjoying all foods in moderation. (I had one tiny boss bring in and give away all of her kid's snacks because she found herself tempted to eat something that wasn't a vegetable).

I don’t know. Maybe sometimes?
I am a wife and a mother and a physician. I feel like I am at a place in my life where I don’t need to be judged so harshly on my looks (by myself or others). I think I look fine, but if people are unhappy with my appearance, they are free to look away. It’s not something I care to devote myself to any longer.
