Well, that's odd because it suggests that the victim was missing for some time, which suggests that the victim was in the stairwerll for quite some time before being discovered at 8:15 pm. Was no one in the stairwell at all that day? I do avoid that stairwell, but I'd find it hard to believe no one was in it for hours and hours. |
Maybe the body was dumped there shortly before it was discovered? |
| Bethesda, shocking! All this crime there is making the poor areas look safe. |
"drugs were involved" doesn't necessarily mean a drug deal. It could mean that the perpetrators were hopped up on drugs, and/or were robbing from the man in order to get drug money, which is why they went overboard and beat him to death. Being in a concrete starirwell, I guess it could also be that things got out of hand fast -- they pushed him hard, he fell backwards down the stairs, and they fled. It's awful. |
| Terrifying. Who were the attackers? |
| That shopping center has always been cursed. |

Yup. |
You are correct. |
Just like the post office across the street -- the Bethesda post office -- is also in Chevy Chase 20815. The dividing line is about 2 blocks down Wisconsin Ave. But I think most people consider it Bethesda. The Bethesda fire department on the corner of Bradley and Wisconsin is also in Chevy Chase, address-wise. |
| How do you know deceased was the dealer? |
From the WJLA article: "Based on preliminary information, sources stated the three teens met the adult victim to purchase marijuana." |

Murders are way up in the county
