Aging butt

You need weight. Doing squats with your body weight isn’t going to gain you any lift or muscle. Go to a gym and get a trainer to show you how to use a bar and weights properly

I have been power walking high speeds and inclines on the tread for about five months and definitely see some nice booty gains! I do 20-30 minutes five times a week and lift three times a week for about same amount of time. I do inclines at 12-15 on tread with speed anywhere from 4-4.5.

I’m mostly concerned with how it looks naked.

There’s a reason God invented high-quality lingerie.

Most high quality lingere doesn’t provide much butt coverage—quite the opposite.

Are squats hard on your knees?

Do not listen to the Pilates and barre people. Light resistance and body weight cannot help your aging butt. You need WEIGHTS. Anyone telling you otherwise is either not in a fight with gravity yet or has an old saggy butt and is in denial

This is the PP who suggested lunges, squats and bridge lifts. I've been doing B3 for 3 years and used to do Bar Method. I agree that regular barre classes do wonders for your butt. What's 80 day obsession?

PP here. You've never taken a barre class, trust me you wouldn't last 5 mins. FWIW, we use weights and resistance bands till the point of fatigue.

I would strongly recommend a few sessions with an experienced trainer. He/she can help answer these questions and also show you how to do these exercises without hurting yourself.

It’s one of the BOD programs. “Beachbody” on demand.

Be realistic. No one is expecting a 50 yo woman to look good naked.

I remember being in a Scandinavian gym some years ago, and all these 60 year old ladies were walking around naked. They looked REALLY GOOD, all fit/slim (not skinny) and confident. Don't fall for the "can't look good any more" trap.
