1-5 in last 6. Ranking means nothing. Sliding down path of season over.

#8 was solid on the draw winning nearly two-thirds and #22 back and scoring 5 goals & 1 assist. They had Oakton nearly even (8-9) at half time. Coach will have them ready for rematch against Oakton assuming they don't overlook Westfield.

Will take the Cougars at home all day against Centreville. Look for another Madison-Oakton battle. That will be the one to watch. Regionals will be interesting to see who plays who.

Wow….who on earth would pay that much to send their kid to a private HS?

We pay over 50K and it is worth every penny for our kid.

This post makes me think of a quote from the movie Good Will Hunting where Matt Damon’s character is taking to a Harvard snob:

“You just wasted $150,000 on an education you coulda got for $1.50 in late fees at the public library.”

This poster just wasted $200K on an education for his kid that he coulda got for taxes paid at a public high school.

If Centerville won “nearly two-thirds” of the draws, then how did South Lakes win? Did the goalie have a great game? The rest of South Lakes’ defense is mediocre.

For people with real money, 50k is nothing. Some have 4 or 5 kids that go through the private high school system.

You. Are. A. Snob.

"People with real money"?

Some may argue that those with real money, who also have humility and a brain, send their kids to public school when the school is an excellent school that has the services the child requires.

A member of my extended family definitely has "real money," well into the eight figures. He shops at Walmart, drives a 10-year-old vehicle, cuts coupons, and sent all five of his kids to public school.

Have you heard of the Mars family? They certainly have "real money," yet they don't flaunt it at all. They'd never make a comment like "people with real money."

Combination of some nice saves by their goalie and costly turnovers.

I guess, if you don’t know the difference between quality and quantity.
