Biden's VP?

Duckworth. Even Repubs would have a hard time attacking her.

Harris has a strong chance, but someone might tell Biden that (soft) racist independents in swing states who are leaning towards voting for him because they are tired of Donald Trump's voice would be turned off by this. So all roads point to Warren. She can speak blue collar and excite some on the left. Not the Bernie Bros who hate her, to be sure, but enough. Guessing some pro-Biden suburban white guys won't be thrilled, but overall, it's the smart play.

The way Harris combines vindictiveness, opportunism, and partisanship turned me off to her. She seems like she can be cruel for no reason.

I could live with Warren. At least when she was vindictive (vs the banks) it was well justified.

I agree Klobuchar is out now.

This is the most important choice Biden has to make because all of the independents will vote for or against his VP, not him (or Trump).

Michelle Obama. And it's getting really obvious.

But I would really love Michelle as VP.

I really think her voice could calm a nation in turmoil.

It's not a long shot, the wheels have been in motion. Why do you think the Obamas have been so 'out there' lately? It's not organic, it's for a reason. Her being VP is the only reason.

No, it’s because they’re supporting Biden. She doesn’t want to do this. It’s not happening.

Anyone who’s laid the slightest bit attention to her knows that, in fact, she does not want any of that.

+1. I don’t see her ever running for elected office of any kind.

She can run, help win the election, and quit.

I would personally vote to have her sainted for that alone.

A moderate
Governing experience (the last 3 years have convinced me that private sector executive experience does not translate to running a much more complex organization such as the Federal Government)
Younger than Biden (45-65)
Adds votes (or at least does not cost Biden any votes)

While I would love to see a female on the ticket and/or a person of color, the above four criteria are more important

Yeah, for sure let’s pair a moderate with the already moderate Joe Biden.

You want someone to add votes? Elizabeth Warren.

We don’t need both the POTUS and VPOTUS over the age of 73. That’s ridiculous. In addition, her senate seat is automatically replaced with the republican governor of Massachusetts.

I like Karmala Harris for SCOTUS.

Bottoms gave a stirring speech that 80% of America would pound the table for in agreement. She seems relatable. They both have a few skeletons but on the surface not as bad as Biden’s son.

Biden has boxed himself into a corner. All his leading female candidates now have some flaws. I think Booker could have been a good choice but he took that off the table.

I heard Bottoms’ fiery impassioned speech, and I liked her immediately. She’s got something special.

It would be funny if he picked an old white guy.

I like what I’ve seen of her so far too.

Every potential candidate has flaws, but for some reason we harp on women more for them. Our current president is probably the most flawed in history, yet somehow his campaign did a brilliant job convincing voters that Clinton was equally flawed as him.

Anyone who stays home on Election Day because they don’t get their ideal VP candidate can F off as far as I’m concerned.
